She was actually flat on a pretty good amount of the song. Not by a lot, but still...

For everyone commenting on the guitar sound, A guitar can sound different depending on where you hit the strings and how hard you hit them. In this case, he was hitting the strings with quite a force therefore coursing the guitar to make a make a more metallic sound. It also depends on the mic of the camera because some cameras make an acoustic guitar sound more metallic. Hope this helped :)

Awesome singing, but guitar playing sounded really bad. There's a reason why it's an acoustic guitar, you don't scratch it hard like an electric guitar.

Whakaio lacks of acoustic essence, that for example kevin skaff has. In fact this is a song which you can take acoustically much advantage from, kinda disappointed.

Kinda cringing at the guitar bits. It's not bad, I just feel like one of the strings might snap with that force ._.

Not saying he isn't a good guitarist, but he's barely playing anything but chords in this song... His guitar parts in other songs like The Fire, Lonely Girl etc. are so much better.
