I love that dispite the ballerina vibe (and obvious sex appeal), the two robots remain creepy and very erie. I thinks it’s the height, unpredictable nature, and lack of faces.

There is a psychology phrase that matches them perfectly. Its called "The Uncanny Valley." The Twins are humanoid and possess conventional beauty which draws the eyes but then you notice the inhuman movements and lack of a face which is likely to disturb. Its why things like those old Chucky Cheese animatronics and their ilk are more like to scare kids than entertain them.
They knew what they where doing when they made the designs
