Ya know the bad ending kinda reminds me of "The Upgrade" movie where the villain Stem manipulate it's own host (Protagonist), thinking he's the good guy. But in reality he's Not. When he realizes this truth then the antagonist/villain put the protagonist/hero into a Deep Sleep where he can dream endlessly about the happiness. In this game Jared is also done the same thing to P3 😲🤯

To do nothing is a happy one here. All of the worst had already happened to protagonist. He died and lost his wife. Sechenov didn’t resurrect him fully because he couldn’t. He had to remove memories and change the personality to save P-3’s life but P-3 has to make choices himself, either to live or disappear. In my subjective view, the internal struggle of P-3 is to start a new life and resurrect for real or to join his wife and live the past in Limbo. To do nothing ending is a positive and a happy one. Sechenov is not evil, he is an idealist and a humanist, despite his understanding of sacrifices for greater good. If he can, he acts like a humanist. Zakharov, yet, is a moral degenerate and evil selfish manipulator, who is interested not in becoming a new kind but in banal power.

I don't really think either ending is a good or bad label. I prefer to think of leaving it all as alternative to the true ending. Where you learn about Charles True intent. Maybe dlc will have you snap to reality and try to stop him once and for all

Just finished the gameplay on here and damn Everyone is complaining about the ending but I really like it. I don't know what ending people like, but the ending made me regret not being able to play it... The "good" ending fit with the tone of the game. No good solutions, just less bad solutions. The ending where he crushed Charles and I guess Babba didn't seem to fit the tone of the game. I couldn't see the Major doing that.

still think there is a 3rd or 4th ending somewhere in the coding that starts at the lighthouse with the choice of the beta rings (keep or toss into the water) that nobody choses to keep based on the available information at the time. someone go back and keep the rings and see how everything plays out then.

think about it, through almost 2/3rds of the entire game, every side character has pestered the protagonist at every other scene on wether or not he has the rings (even a headache inducing moral lesson from the damned glove). i'd take that as a cue that they were important enough to the overall story to warrant a different ending depending on how the player choses to use the rings at the end.

By my guess the bad ending is the true ending cause you get the achievement for the twins and just extra cutscene so yes maybe a dlc but personally I would like there to not be any due to the fact that the ending is a beautiful in a way idk but I don't care if there is but I just feel like the bad ending is bitter sweet

When i found out after at first choosing the Bad Ending (which turns out to actually also be the True, Good Ending) i was so mad and dissapointed that then i had changed to the good ending. Only to find out from checking youtube comments Bad Ending = Good Ending.

Well the glove has a different point of view of the world he thinks that humans are going to destroy the earth and they have no future there, the “good” ending is exactly what you have tried the whole game to not happen, but p3 won’t see it as he will be one of the volunteers in the academy of consequences leaving him in the Limbo forever while his body does everything.

My question is tho how do you replay the game for the other endings

I was a bit annoyed at the cliche of "you thought I was good but I was the bad guy all along". Like, why couldn't Charles just be a decent person? The "good" ending is shit, you give up at the last minute after hearing all the shit Sechanov has done to you, and after his plan to rule the world under Sov order, how is that the good ending?

The human body is too dense and low is vibration for super powers although it's possible to evolve to have them, but one have to live many incarnations (thousands maybe millions) for that power to develop as for the astral body it is there in a instant. The astral body (spirit body) can not be destroyed, it can walk, fly, hover, travel back in time to observe their previous life cycles, go through fire, water or any substances and operate on any plane depending on the plane and vibration of that region. There's a book called the spirit's book by Allec Kardec, The Astral Body by A E Powell, and also look up Astral Travel by Gavin and Yvonne Frost.

The gameplay was fun. The story and P-3 are trash

The gameplay is decently entertaining, the art and world are beautiful, and the lore in this alternate world is ripe for interesting stories. However, the dialogue is awful, the main character is an insufferable asshole who is unable to retain information, changes his opinions with no warning and often seems entirely disconnected from the situations he is in, he swears in every sentence like an edgy teenager who thinks cursing makes them more mature, but also has a goofy PG exclamation catchphrase, and often times the dialogue between him and other characters, particularly Charles, sounds mismatched, like they generated a response by randomly picking an affirmative or negative phrase. The story fails to take advantage of this interesting fictional world and just throws random things at you with no build-up, set-up or foreshadowing and sometimes there is a bunch of setup and forshadowing with no payoff, for example: the main character literally throws the McGuffin/Chekov's Gun into the ocean and no-one mentions it again, and they talk about how the alpha connector has never been seen and could be anything but it just looks like a regular connector but gold, i literally thought it was a decorative display model to mark the invention of the standard connector. Multiple characters and mechanics show up so few times they may aswell not be in the game, for example: the friendly robots in the black dresses, Nora, timed decisions, the ability to grab onto the flying control systems. The "plasmids" are essentially the following: do a small amount of shock damage, incapacitate enemies, apply DoT to an enemy if they are hit by elemental damage, incapacitate enemies a different way, and a shield; you only get to have three at a time, one of which is always shock. The open world really adds nothing but an annoyance in travelling between missions and optional areas, the underground facilities that missions and optionals take place in are a bit interesting, if repetitive, but the overworld is just a bland combination of farms, houses, train stations and enemies, you dont even go to the floating islands except in the prologue and the final boss. The entire thing feels so unfocused and inconsistent, especially the cutscenes, dialogue and tone, its like they had three different studios make parts of the game without any communication then just smashed it all together. The game tries to do way too many things, and just ends up doing it all poorly. This game really tries to be a new Bioshock, but apart from some superficial visual similarities and a poor attempt at a "Big, final, you are the bad guy twist", it doesn't come close.

Gamepass saving me 60$ again on a game with a bad endings that leave you at cliff hangers at best. The game looks good & plays pretty well, but damn man those endings suck ass, worse then halo infinite id almost say. I Feel like the whole aspects of this game can be summed up into these few words "fetch quest in Russia with robots" like if you took out the puzzles & fetch quest in this game, you'd have 2 hours of gameplay tops 😂, but all and all id give it 8/10 for gameplay & graphics & 2/10 for game story being shit all around & quest being mostly fetch quest & a puzzle every now & then. Play it on gamepass or get it on sale for under 30$ bc you wont be playing it again in its current story state unless dlc content makes massive strides in the story department.

T2 had better effects, this is a really dated looking game and it came out today. The Russian propaganda on YT is in full swing, tho.

​@@hilotakenaka if you think so you must've missed half the game. Rapture was hell long before magic drugs. Magic drugs were just a last step in an arms race. It had a bunch of social and economic problems, people were executed left and right, great poverty ect.
