Sometimes the most painful thing... is not telling someone you love them. I think anyone can relate to what Eve is feeling. You are trying to be respectful to other people's relationship and you keep your feelings hidden. Its only after you lose that person that you are filled with regret. Alot of people try to be nice and respectful at the cost of hurting themselves.

i can't be certain but when Rex said "you wouldn't like what you would have become" i think this is foreshadowing the version of mark that became a sort of cannibal. see in the comics possibly in S3 there's going to be a war involving different Invincibles' from the multiverse, most of them are evil versions and one of them was a cannibal because of him being stuck on a world like where Mark is now so yeah it's a dark scene that is foreshadowing a coming threat

Yeah this scene really doesn’t have a ton of implications since they don’t explore this timeline at all after. The Mark that eventually turns into a cannibal was evil in his timeline and not liked by any of the Guardians, so they’re not referring to that version.

@@ShanaReviews he was not a cannibal because he was stuck in some world.......he was always pure evil (we saw in s2e8), and when angstrom strands 8 evil marks, they all resort to cannibalism to survive, not just him, but your comment suggests he was cannibalistic before that, which we don't have any proof of

It may be messed up to drop this on Mark after he just broke up with Amber, but I appreciate Future Eve just looking out for her past self. That has got to be a heavy burden she's carrying, being in love with someone for decades and never getting closure on that.

I really like that they made it clear he was Rex. Taking off the helmet doesn't help when Robot is literally a clone of Rexplode.

Theres something i wondered about this episode. Levi's power only sends him to a different dimension but same geological position (he stated it when getting the Mauler twins). So when Mark and him were fighting, they kept going down so far, buildings lengths. So im wondering how messed up the world must be for them to be at this depth

You say that as if it's solely _his_ fault and _his_ problem to deal with. He never knew how Eve felt, and he probably didn't even officially start to feel any actual romantic feelings for her until later this season. That's when we saw them act awkwardly when she was hugging him, which could be a sign that there's some feelings there. However, seeing as Eve is the one who apparently always felt that way for Mark, it's on HER that she didn't tell her own best friend how she felt about him. It's her own fault that she didn't have closure, which is why she decided to step up and correct her past mistake. How is it Mark's fault? He obviously didn't know how she felt, and was in a relationship of his own. So nah, he shouldn't feel obligated to tell her anything, which is probably why he didn't in the finale. It wasn't all on him to begin with. Sure, he can throw some hints her way, to maybe give her the idea, or encourage her in subtle ways to tell him how she feels, but at the end of the day, she's the only one who can say how she feels. He can't say it on her behalf.

Kind of felt a missed opportunity for Mark to talk to his former teammates. Missed the point, in future Eve's world, they didnt date at all. She had feelings for him but never told him. She never got closure. Thats why she wanted Mark to tell his Eve whether he loves her or not, so his Eve could move on.

I suppose they are from his dimension but from the future so they travelled through both back in time and and between dimensions. And Eve did it for next timeline's Eve. But then why would Eve say that after all those years? She seems very sure they will not end up together 🤔 I suppose they are lying and from another dimension, maybe that from dimension's future. And Eve does it for another dimension's Eve. Very confusing lol.

Is there a reason that they keep showing old versions of Eve? If any non-Viltrumite should be able to live as long as Mark it would be Eve. She can manipulate matter on a molecular level. I know they nerf her powers a lot, or she'd be the most OP character in the show by a mile. However she should be able to reverse the effects of aging, or stop the process entirely. Idk, maybe I'm reading too much into it.

She only found out that she could do it just before dying of old age. And reversing your aging must require using powers on organic matter, which she can't do.

Amazing for a man who always winds up in icu he gets some of the most attractive women to be interested in him I mean for a guy who always winds up in the ICU at the end of the day the show has been one of the most funniest things and it's very hard considering I how much I hate comedy this is one of the few things in this world that can make me laugh and leave me in stitches something Mark should always be familiar with considering that's how he pretty much leaves every battle that he's in

these guardians are ours, just 20 years in the future i would imagine that they first went to this dimension (20 years in the future, their present) and found that mark was ....... whatever (probably insane) so they thought they had no choice and therefore decided to go back 20 years, find mark and send him home then

It's a completely different dimension with different possibilities, so the whole "destroying the timeline continuum" thing is just unnecessary stakes they were setting up. There's a bunch of things you can add like maybe Red salvaged Rudy's arm, season 2 imo is just all over the freakin' place.

I mean she didn’t date the blue alien for long because she was still kind of in love with mark but I agree hopefully the show redoes the reboot time skip mess in the comics

Compared with season 1 this season ended on a low. I can't believe episode 8 was the seaspn finale
