Ateez lore is deep and complicated. They have alternate universes. Universe A and Z. Them in the black outfits are known as Halateez. That is the long story short. LOL

Yes. Halateez being trapped does have meaning. In the lore when Ateez first travels to world Z by the Cromer (the hour glass) they find the Black Pirates (Halateez) trapped inside those boxes. I don’t remember exactly what happens but Ateez takes up the fight that Halateez started in World Z. The end credits of Deja Vu is from the song Turbulence. From the lore aspect of it, the members escape the Android Guardians (guys in the white with the chain mask) and go back to World A using the cromer. Yeosang, after the other members were safely away destroyed the cromer so the guardians couldn’t follow them. He gets trapped (why he is in the box in Say My Name). Their lore is exciting and complicated.

Yes Ateez dance practices are so satisfying to watch. I recommend watching all their dance practices. Their Hala hala choreography is what pushed me to watch their concert last yr (first concert ever). 😁

one thing about atz is that they're always gonna SLAY their dance practices. you should definitely react to more of the practices! you really get to see their overall talent, unbelievable teamwork, and especially their insane energy 😭🫶 (they literally cause earthquakes in the kq building). i recommend halazia, wonderland, win, bouncy, guerrilla, thanxx, fireworks, and crazy form.

2 Fun facts: 1) Deja Vu has parts of choreo from other songs incorporated. You know… like deja vu. Example - When Hongjoong is rapping and they are bent over around him, they are doing part of the Pirate King choreo. 2) There is a Halloweeen Performance MV where they are vampires.

If you want to watch other ATEEZ dance practices I highly recommend Horizon also other ppl already said this but Jongho was injured so he didn’t film the dance parts with the group. Also Mingi wasn’t on hiatus during Deja vu but during the next comeback which was fireworks, he still rapped on the song but he wasn’t in the mv and didn’t participate in the showcase and comeback
