amazing. best fucking era of them. in casino out is one of my favorite albums. i tried to see them on the last tour but i was too young to get in the club at the time (17). wish i knew about this when it was happening. i would have been 13/14. crazy to think of how much really does change in a decade. not a hug volta/sparta fan. excited to hear that omar/zach hill project though. this stuff will always be my favorite.

Fuckin'awesome! At the Drive-In kick ass! Mars Volta masterpiece "deloused..." it's a great work (some other song like "the widow" too) but ATDI was another hystory. Well his mother died. Immediately most fans blamed him for deflating the reunion due to his reserved performance. His integrity to meet his musical obligations was just seen as an easy cashing of a paycheck. To a degree even the band blamed him but none of them expected him to "get over it" and perform the way he used to given the circumstances. It was just a shitty situation.

1. They are not 19. Cedric was 19 when ATD-I first started, Jim was 17, and so on. 2. Cedric doesn't focus on singing every note right. He's more focused on putting on a good show. 3. This was from '98. In-Casino-Out came out this year, Vaya has another year to go.

@moralyson actually in an interview they said they had wrote all of the music for this album, if not a majority. cedric always played drums from a long time before and incorporated ideas through tonys style. all albums are credited with all of them writing but i know all of them except were more of multi instrumentalist . their all appreciating in this band though, they all fit in together, all of them from very different background, truly a cultural musical experience was born
