This is one of those purchases that is an investment. This will hold it's value down the road. I was recently trying to obtain the rambo steelbook best buy edition and it's going for absurd money. This set will always hold its value If later you chose to sell it. Your going to regret it if later you change your mind and arrowfilms discontinues the set. Buy it while you can.

Great to see someone's pure joy over this set! It's a beauty and I'm very impressed, but can't pretend to be a hardcore Bruce Lee fan! Grew up with Way of the Dragon as a kid but I've never gone on a deep dive. Hopefully this set will give me a new appreciation of him. Two other things: kudos on the Ace Ventura reference, one I've made many times in relation to blu-ray box sets! I've never gone as far as including the clip though, fair play 😆 And I'd just like to give credit where it's due on the presentation of the video itself, I appreciate a well framed and lit bit of production! And with the two angles as well - top notch 👌

Got mine today too and I am blown away. Had a look at a bit of the GOD footage and was gobsmacked, it hasn't really sunk in yet! I sat and watched the Mandarin cut of The Big Boss and really enjoyed it. Starting with another viewing of the Mandarin cut tomorrow and from there I will be meticulously working my way through each disc and the extras. Good times to be a Lee fan.

Great video Stripey, really enjoyed it even though I already have my set, just love your enthusiasm for it. Want that T-shirt too! I started with the Mandarin Cut, of course, and followed up with The Final Game of Death, freakin awesome, loved it. I know people have moaned about the price but to me its worth every penny. Hi Stripey Got mine yesterday at 14.21 Amazon man came a knocking. Like yourself I was like a kid in sweet shop when I unboxed the Red box Standard Blu Ray version. Watched the mandarin cut and its incredible what is in there. I must say although my set is not in 4K Ultra HD, you can see the improvement to the picture qaulity straight away. Arrow have done an amazing job. Enjoy Stripey!

Hi, no it only contains the extended directors cut. However, the theatrical cut will be included with the Warners UK release in August.

Just to add me and a friend went to London for a bruce lee convention in the late 80s Dan inosanto performed a seminar with his team and they showed the uncut version of way of the dragon my first time very special cheers mate keep um coming

I got mine from the Fopp in Covent Garden, i rang them up,and they reserved me one,my best purchase of 2023,

Seen loads of these Bruce 4K boxset unboxing videos but yours is my favourite Stripey. I have this same boxset myself but haven’t opened it yet because it had minor damage to it so ordered another one which says it should arrive by Friday or Saturday then i’m going to return the first one if this one arrives in perfect condition.

Happy you got an undented one mate ! I've absolutely binged it over the last 24 hours. I think the picture quality is better on blu than it was in the cinema. The Final GOD epic documentary is incredible ! Absolute bargain I think.

Surprising my wife with this today (red version). Had to pay a bit over retail as it’s sold out but she’s a big HK and Bruce fan.

Excellent video Stripey, delighted you finally got your set. Your videos have had me hyped for the last few months. I ordered the Red Boxset which arrived on Saturday, I felt like a kid on Xmas morning taking it all in! Arrow have set the bar really high now in terms of the attention to detail, packaging, and love that went into these sets. As time has gone on I'm really liking the Artwork on the Arrow Exclusive (the Yellow boxset). I would love to get the cover artwork framed it's truly that good. I look forward to a comprehensive review of the whole set/comparison against the Criterion Collection As always keep up the excellent work mate!

Thanks for sharing this with us! This was by far the best unboxing we’ve seen. For one thing, showing the box in front of you gave real perspective of its size. Totally surprised at how big the set was! We’d love nothing more than to own this set, but, by the time it arrives in the United States it will cost approximately $176 delivered. We currently do not own any Bruce Lee movies and we were contemplating this set. My husband has Parkinson’s, so our money is budgeted these days but he LOVES your channel!! We’re vinyl enthusiasts which is why we subscribed in the first place.🙏🏻❤️You being a Bruce Lee fan was an exceptional bonus, LOL!😂For someone who doesn’t own these movies, do you think the Criterion Bruce Lee Greatest Hits a great option for us? Love my set was lucky got it days ago, very much enjoyed ur love and enthusiasm for this. Gotta say it tho, u keep saying 4k ultra HD, which is of course aces BUT it’s WAY more exciting and cooler that it’s Dolby vision & HDR mate 😉. That is the killer combo and makes this set extra special. Any content with Dolby Vision is a significant improvement in depth and color accuracy over 4K!!!! Just sayin. Enjoy (sick to death of man and the legend and Bruce the legend tho, ancient shit that is, first doc I ever saw ha, don’t care it’s in 1080 myself)

My set is coming on Wednesday, the 4k red boxset and I'm in the USA. Apparently my pre-order for Enter the Dragon 4k UHD has been delayed by Amazon until August 31st (originally was supposed to be released on August 8th.) I plan on replacing the Enter the Dragon disc in this boxset with that 4k UHD disc whenever it arrives.

Can't say I'm not jealous 😊 happy for you Stripey .... please do some Longstreet & Green Hornet ....I'm sure some of the fans if not all would agree ...much love❤

The main feature on the alternate versions disc is the Singapore cut with the Billy Lo arrest ending which is the one that has been in circulation for video releases, TV screenings and cinema re-releases in HK and Asian territories except Japan since the late 80s though the HK version that was shown on Channel 4 in the UK in the late 90s/early 2000s was the Singapore cut with the Billy Lo arrest ending which is where I first watched this version when it premiered on network TV in 1997 and I recorded that version off Channel 4 TV in the 1999 and 2001 screenings the latter thinking that the Inosanto fight would be included

Still cant decide which boxed to go for yet lol probably the best boxset on Bruce Lee yet.

What is the picture quality like for these titles in 4K compared to the criterion blu ray? Is it a drastic improvement? I do not have the blu ray or 4k collections of Bruce Lee’s movies so I am wondering if it is worth paying double the money for the 4Ks or to save some money and settle on the blu ray criterion collection

I ordered from Diabolik as well and read their email this morning on how half their inventory arrived in poor condition. They should get more stock by end of this month. I ordered the blu ray edition box, along with a region free blu ray player.

I still have the Bruce Lee dvd boxset from Golden Star/GH i bought in 2004 and Hong Kong Legends boxset.

Stripey ,great boxset,,but iam not happy with the packaging,,as my set has come damaged,the one corner has a band big dent and it looks obvious,,any ideas of what can i do 😊

Got my set on Fri. Watched most of it already. Unfortunately I made an error when ordering. I thought I ordered the yellow set but got the red one. Both are, according to the arrow site, limited edition

Yellow boxed set is exclusive to Arrow only.

So watched 4K Mandarin cut of Big Boss , also watched the 35mm unrestored Mandarin cut , which I enjoyed so much more, felt raw, like I was watching an X- rated forbidden fruit, Loved it , highly recommend this version is watched close to watching the 4K version to get that immediate comparison! Has anyone else done this and had similar thoughts?

I had to cancel my preorder because I had to get a new phone so have missed out on the yellow packaging but Amazon still has the 4K red packaging so hopefully I can get that

I really hope they release this in the US

They will not. Criterion has the rights in the US.

Great unboxing mate, was looking forward to see your aswell, "The final cut" unboxing..😄I ordered mine this evening actually, Blu-ray version of red boxset, and it was dispatched while watching your video haha have been following, reading and watching so many posts, comments etc. these days on several forums. Even read 2 deep reviews of both edt.😁 seems that the Big Boss and Fist Of Fury have the best picture quality but generally the colors and sharpness from the pictures in the review, comparing it to the medium-rare set (I guess "Master collection"), are much better and without the yellow tone. Enjoy and I'm looking forward to your reviews and thoughts!
