Savoi plantation is quite popular. Reputed Italian Canadian chef David Rocco had visited this place and prepared Batata Vada, Sol kadi, Cashew bhaji in his show Dolce Vita India. As a north indian what i associated Goa was quite the opposite, beaches-drugs & half naked foreign hippies. And thats what the media generally shows about Goa. Thank you Lesley, you spured us to revisit the plantation again on our visit to Goa last February. We first went to the plantation in November 2000 and enjoyed the visit even more this time as we went on our own on a scooter from Candolim. A bit hard to find but a kind local gentleman also on a scooter showed us the way. Keep up the good work, we love your channel. P.S. my favourite Goan foods are Vindaloo, Xacuti and prawns recheado, I can’t get enough when I am in Goa.

Hi, yes Savoi is a great experience in all seasons. But it’s more on northern side of Goa than south, closer to Panjim than Margao
