dude i have the same problem exact what did you do get another board was the board faulty?

OK... so I have the same problem with mi Asus z390 Rog hero XI... Light is on but won't boot... I was pretty sure is the PSU fault... But after this video I realized is the MB Worked fine one year... And suddenly the power button has no light any more and doesn't boot.also from the power button inside top right no boot.... What I noticed if I plug the power cord out and back to the PSU 20 times out of nowhere is starting and working properly..

I’d your screw will touch the case and it will make short circuit which will make boot cycle

Wow interesting I was thinking of picking up this board but after this I'm very skeptical..

Silviu I. Definitely can agree with you on that .. My Z390 Aorus Pro has been working fine for a year now no problems like this .. this just ridiculous coming from a big company like ASUS Seems like they fix a problem comes back fix a problem comes back just ridiculous ... Keep us updated

Matt my problem is not that they have faulty parts here and there a few but the problem is that I think I lost my HDD full of data again... and they will not care about that, I’m very curious if my HDD is fried or not.. and if it is if they will pay for it 🤦🏻‍♂️ today they receive my motherboard.. let’s see what they say

Silviu I. Yeah keep us updated have you ever thought of a data recovery company too look into the HDD? I'm guessing you've tried to reset the cmos .. Or update the bios ..?

Matt I’ve done both before sending it back to them, that’s why I’ve even ordered a new PSU to exclude that as well.. for the moment I don’t know if the HDD is dead or not, I’m waiting for them to send the motherboard back to see if the HDD is dead or not.. anyway still waiting for it...

Reset the cmos setting back to default and it will restart back to normal

Are you still using ASUS motherboards? I am having huge problems with another ROG motherboard that just will not even boot up .. tried everything possible .. I think ASUS make shit boards to be honest. Highly suspect. Any recommendations that you know of in 2022? Cheers.

the motherboard was the problem.. sent it back to the warranty and has been changed.
