Probably worth noting that sometimes the BIOS will have the incorrect date and time. You will want to ensure this is corrected BEFORE going into advanced and using cloud recovery otherwise you'll get stuck further down the line around the 5:17 mark. SD cards don't really work on the Ally. I have no idea whose idea it was to put it there and not at the bottom of the system like the Steam deck but the system de-recognises the SD card when the system temps increase. I ended up like many others upgrading the SSD to 2TB. Works perfectly.

Since we can't count on sd cards with ally, upgrading ssd would be necessary

Mine tells me to turn on secure boot control

At some point i heard the guy saying that it needs nvme m2 2230 but i thought it fits 2242.. any clue on that?

The space there is really small, hence why they say 2230, but we've heard people trying other sizes and it sounds like they were working. Not sure how they were fitting them in there though.
