I am glad you are having a good time in Asturias. I was in Salt Lake City with all my family a month ago for the graduation of my son in Utah State. He finished his career in Economics.

Thanks mate! We really wanted to keep it real and not another pretentious or phony camino series and of course with this amount of food and boos it's hard not to be happy go lucky.
Greetings from Spain. What you call beans are called fabes, and you have finally tried it!!! Being in Asturias and not trying fabes is like being in Italy and not eating pizza... Although I don't live there, I have family in Asturias, try the local cheeses and meat, they are incredible. A hug and thanks for our time.

En Asturias, todo lo que no sean restaurantes, sidrerías o bares para salir de vinos , cierra a esa hora porque habitualmente se cena en casa, con la familia o se sale con los amigos....es una buena vida, no necesitamos vivir para acumular, sino ganarnos la vida para disfrutarla....pero, eso sí, cosas bien hechas ( el tiempo medio de la cocción de una fabada (las habas) casera son 4 y)... En Asturias hay muchas zonas que son solo campo...algunas bastante silvestres...es recomendable llevar siempre agua y algo que contenga chocolate o frutos secos...Que disfrutéis el camino...

Qué etapa tan bonita y qué buen tiempo seguís disfrutando, y no digamos nada de lo bien que os alimentáis, ja, ja! Da un poco de fatiga veros subir esas cuestas cargados con vuestras mochilas. Cuando hice el Camino Francés, en las etapas montañosas, hice la “trampa” de recurrir a empresas que por un módico precio te llevaban la mochila de albergue a albergue, y menuda diferencia al caminar! Aunque en el Camino del norte, al haber menos peregrinos , no creo que existan esas empresas. Buen Camino!

Es una buena idea tener una empresa que transporte tus mochilas cuando se vuelve más montañoso y más pesado de llevar. Pero, oh, la comida y la sidra en Asturias es tan increíble.
Tenéis que usar el bordón o bastón del peregrino, os ayudará al caminar👍😉

Post data: pide guindillas para los frijoles con chorizo y morcilla, aquí se parten las guindillas en pedacitos y esta mejor😊

Yes, a beautiful land and so was the Basque country - we loved it there also
If you can, go to Covadonga. With luck you will hear the howling of the Wolves in the mountains and the place is the starting point of the Reconquista. Beautiful place.

Es la Sierra del Cuera, no sé ven los Picos de Europa desde ahí pues la Sierra oculta su visión.

PASADLO BIEN, EL RECORRIDO POR MI ASTURIAS ES MARAVILLOSO :) 😃 , CUANDO LLEGUEIS A LA VILLA DE "LUARCA" LA VISTA DESDE ARRIBA Y VER ESA VILLA MARINERA TAN BLANCA ¡OS IMPRESIONARÁ!, AUNQUE AUN OS FALTA MUCHO POR LLEGAR. DE TODAS FORMAS OS ENCANTARA TODO EN ASTURIAS . AAAHHHH Y ACORDAROS DE BEBER EL VASO DE SIDRA DE UN TIRON, O SEA DE UN TRAGO TODO. Sí, tienes razón, me encanta todo de Asturias. El cachopo, la sidra, los quesos y la gente. Ahora he aprendido la forma correcta de tomar sidra en Asturias gracias a que todos a mi alrededor me dicen que me la beba de una vez y que no la deje reposar en el vaso - gracias!
