Otra etapa para recordar. Qué bonita es Asturias! “Asturias, patria querida, Asturias de mis amores, quién estuviera en Asturias en todas las ocasiones…” se dice en el himno de Asturias. Hoy os ha llovido algo, pero no os podéis quejar, porque por el Este y por el Sur de España ahora está lloviendo mucho, bastante más que por el Norte. Buen Camino!

I watched the same futbol match in an Irish pub in Madrid after completing the Camino Portuguese. The pub was packed with people shoulder to shoulder. The Manchester City fans pre-gamed heavily in Plaza Mayor singing their fight songs. It was quite the experience! One bar turned us away even though they had plenty of room. I assume it was because they thought we were Man City fans but we weren’t 😂

Hi Alison, thanks! We spent a month in Scotland last year and I was just corrupted by all of the fun Scots and their sayings from Glasgow to Edenburgh - such a good time and wickedly fun people.

En Naves no, solo había desayuno a la mañana siguiente 😞

Partiendo de la base que es duro hacer el camino (largas caminatas, desconocimiento, lluvia y frío...) , he notado que la mujer protesta por muchísimas cosas (algunas son diferencias culturales entre España y USA). Por el contrario el hombre suele ser mucho más positivo. También que juzgan platos y menús de mesones o restaurantes humildes como si esperasen encontrarse una estrella Michelín. Supongo que si recorren Utah harán lo mismo valorando la comida de cualquier local de carretera que se encuentren, el vino o cerveza que le ofrezcan allí y el trato amable de los paisanos. Ni valoran lo económico que suelen ser este tipo de establecimientos que dan servicio a muchos peregrinos de forma decente y honrada por muy poco dinero. En USA se haría para intentar quitarte el mayor dinero posible. O no?

Gracias por tu observación. Lo gracioso de esto es que la mujer (Audrey) es generalmente más positiva que el hombre (Griffin), pero acaba de pasar un par de días difíciles en el Camino. No necesariamente "juzgamos" la comida, sino que la "apreciamos" junto con los diferentes sabores, gustos, estilos y ubicaciones. Nos gusta toda la comida, desde los humildes cafés al borde de la carretera y los estancos hasta los restaurantes Michelin, y nos gusta comer, filmar y mostrarte lo que encontramos. En Utah, trabajamos como chefs, por lo que comer, cocinar y analizar la comida es una gran parte de nuestras vidas y nuestra pasión. Esa es una de las razones por las que comenzamos este canal fue traer los diferentes tipos de comida en España que encontramos al resto. del mundo para ver.
