Hader has converted most of his save opportunities, but it feels like he gives up a homer almost every outing. Hope he figures it out.

That pitch to Correa was four inches inside. Only one player can actually hit a slam off of that, and that is him. I still could not believe that.

Astros fan here. The Twins have nothing to hang their heads about, that was an awesome comeback. Heck of a game! Carlos is a monster on both sides of the ball.

Game was bipolar as f. Joey catch was incredible, but that bottom of the 9th and Altuve HBP.

I’ll give Hader the benefit I can’t give the other relievers, cuz of location. Everyone else found their pitches going middle-middle. Hader got his pitch way in, Carlos just did a good job of getting those hands in to get it enough

Same thing he did in the Orioles game… putting a rookie pitcher in to play one of the best teams in baseball because we have a big lead and almost blowing it.

The Astros need to seriously think about how poorly Peralta manages the pitching staff. He has cost the Astros this year with his poor decisions on starters and relivers. he is in over his head.

This bullpen is gassed. It isn’t Espada’s fault, it’s the hand that has been dealt. The Astros need to sign another SP that can give them 6-7+ innings per game. The Astros need to acquire another SP soon, it is almost impossible to go deep into the playoffs without a 5 man rotation. Get another starter, plus the other starters return you’ll have at least 3 starters that are capable of giving you 6-7+ innings per game resting the bullpen a bit. Espada will then have the ability to manage the bullpen efficiently. I know the bullpen is being criticized for their woes, but they’re also having to exceed their roles and expectations thus far.

This was a win but damn that was way to close

Astros still got the best hitting line up idc no Kyle Tucker and we still the hottest team in the league. LFG STROS

As great as Loperfido's catch was, hands down, the play of the game was the catch by Altuve in no man's land.

Glad to Correa doing well this year. Even happier to see the Astros win.

He only has 2 pitches.. when he locating hes good ..when not he get roughed up.. he wasnt overly dominant prior to signing with us..hes still a good closer when locationing

We wanted him but we need extra money to sign other players…he came back renegotiate, $25M, Astros said $19M with incentives, Correa declined; he sign Jeremy, if we did not have him there Crsne would have caved to Vorrea offer. Sadly, Correa left, but Astros won WS, guess who was MVP: Jeremy Pena ss, which should have been Correas…but fate is made, I wish Correa the best, heck he re-sign w us again…

7 runs allowed on two outs in the bottom of the 9th with 4 of them coming from a $95 mil. player is unreal. This was worse than the Baltimore game. Insurance runs don't exist for the Astros, only high bp.

I don't think Hader is great but this time I will give it to him. He didn't have time to warm up and he didn't think he was pitching this game. Also, his pitch to Correa was pretty good but Correa is a great player.
