When astro got EricO on board they hit gold. I never knew astro made such a awesome tool until I seen EricO using and mentioning them. To be honest, the very few tools he mentioned all have been good tools and priced fair. I'm not taking anything away from clay. I'm just saying Eric really helped their sales. Look at mac and matco I wouldn't know or own half the macto tools I own if clay hadnt did a video.( hyper step, blue ratchet just to name 2)

Astro makes quite a few of Matco's tools but some are exclusive to matco..so yea they make good stuff
I have this 3/8" set. Have had them for about 8 years I lost the 10mm and called astro for a replacement They shipped me one free of charge even though it was 100 percent my fault. They are very tough and durable sockets Worth every penny and astro is a great company I'll always purchase from astro pneumatic tool company.... great video Clay....😁

That’s awesome
I have the 3/8” metric nano set. They live in the impact socket drawer but boy am I glad they are there when I need them. Also, mirin’ that Tub ‘o Towels in the background. Made here in Cleveland, Ohio!
Astro also makes a special ratchet wrench to go with the nano sockets its 17mm and 22mm and has a retainer ring in it to hold on to socket notice the groove in the socket for it makes for a great kit. Part number 78300.
Clay you always do the best job at showing us the cools tools either from a truck /web site and let everybody know whats the best bang for your buck. Like you say not everybody has 4 tool trucks show up once a week and we thank you for it keep up the great work .🔧🔧🔧🔧
Thanks for the video Clay. I have the 3/8 metric nano set. I have been waiting for a 1/4 metric set. I have several cut down 1/4 sockets waiting to be upgraded!
Thank you for this valuable information it’s my first time ever knowing about Astro I will be purchasing multiple sets to fill up my toolbox thank you

I bought those 1/2 drive metric sockets a couple months back. I also have 2 different nano impacts. Astro makes some really great tools and they hold up well. And best yet they are very affordable.
Clay i have had my nano for awhile now and love them !! I use them almost daily and never broke 1 yet !!
Crying right now after hearing how cheap these were back then. Knew I should have picked them up back when you could get those 3/8 sets for 30 bucks. Kicking myself so hard right now
Just got these this week. Very well made.
Wow, fantastic p rices and with a lifetime warranty. Can't beat that.
Good evening Clay and ALL from the U/K . Just bought a Snap On CT761 Impact thanks to you We can`t get the range of tools & kit that you can. Wish we could. Stay safe ALL

Honestly I'm more intrested in the torx and Allen's. The allen side goes up well into the higher sizes that I often buy separately and I like complete sets. Wasnt even aware they existed thanks for the info!
Some times I move your videos to save to watch when I can thanks clay

I bought the 3/8" metric socket set. They seem to be good quality for a good price, but only time and use will tell if they are worth owning. I did order the 3/8" nano ratchet that is in the 1/4" body. They have the 1/2" drive in the smaller ratchet body as well.
Great video y'all have a great one and stay safe 👍
Great Video.......Thanks Clay ! ! !
Bought these sets last year. Great buy for a very fair price. I have definitely gotten my money’s worth.
Was looking at those. Mostly for cam phaser bolts and tight place crank bolts. Astro is a good company.
They slide so smooth on that rail! It’s a great feeling isn’t it? Love mine
Probably pick up the 3/8 drive metric set. Will need to see if I use them enough to warrant getting 1/2" or SAE. Great video Clay, and the price point is extremely affordable.
I was bored during quarantine and bought the 3/8 and 1/2 sets. Once I was back to work twas a good buy 👍. Even bought the torx nano sets recently.
Wow those sockets are very reasonable. I will definitely be grabbing a set of the meteric
Those nano sockets look good
Thanks for the info
Great video as usual Clay. Got both SAE and Metric in 3/8 drive and use them daily in very tight spots..

@Carlo Monte I would. Never know what you will run into.
nano socket and a 22 mill wrench is a lot slimmer than any other socket and ratchet combo. wish the kex/torx were 17mm hex on the outside. i can think of many examples where they would be perfect.
Them things look sweet! I bet they come in handy working on these newer cars that the engine bays are super cramped on! Great video sir.

I’ve wanted the Astro XL damaged fastener wrenches for a while now. Always impressed with their tools, wish their vise-grip oil filter pliers would come back
@richb2229

The damaged fastener wrenches are a lot like The Capri extractor wrenches. The Capri has complete sets and stubbies.
I have the nano 1/2 and expert stubby 3/8. Like the astro more. Also have the pinless sets and love them.
Wow. I don’t need anything that short but for the price you can’t beat it!
You gotta get the asto 78300 ratcheting flex head wrench made for these one sides a 17mm and the other is a 22mm and it’s got a retaining ring that locks these in via those little cutout slots on the socket base. And it’s about 40-60 dollars
Just grabbed their triple square set. Haven’t used them yet but they seem very high quality! Only $40 on Amazon!
Was literally gonna buy this set the other day
Bought the Torx bits.......they are AWESOME ! ! !
Got myself a ct761 today I dont know how I lived without it

Lol They sure are nice aren’t they. I immediately bought the hex head model afterwards
Got the metric 3/8 set. Handy sockets
It has to be an awesome company because I seen the one low profile 3/8 from 6 mm to 24 mm for 40 bucks on Amazon, I bought it and then before I know it they canceled my order and the price had changed to 79 bucks.. I wasn't mad cuz I thought it was a typo to begin with....fast forward a week and a half two weeks later the product arrives on my porch, and it quickly Rose to my favorite socket set.
Great tools!
Bought both 3/8 and 1/2 drive metric from Amazon a couple weeks back, have yet to use them but I know they are going to save my ass one day

@@richb2229 snap on has low profile universal sockets, this is where I got the idea from, thanks for looking. But being more realistic if I need something like that, the low profile socket with a flex head ratchet wrench 17mm or 22mm for the 1/2 is probably going to do the job better in a tighter area. I kinda bought these low profile sockets more for that idea than anything else. Especially because I plan on getting ratchet moon and S wrench to use with them also
I like astro the best because you can put a wrench on them
They’ve also got a 19 pc metric set 6mm-24mm no skips 78319
I thing the torx bits for impact be good deal so I don't void the warranty on my good ones using them on a impact is the torx plus the new ones or standard torx

I have like 5 nano sets 😂 Love emmmmm
Love it! Personally I’d swap the rail colors, black to metric and blue to standard, this way I don’t get them confused with my Snap-on sockets. But that is a great deal!
Im kinda new here guys so please don't judge me. What do y'all think of grey pneumatic impact sockets and the company in general? Thanks
i might pick this set up soon on 1/2, are the Capri tool stubby sokets smaller/shorter than these?
Good tools and warranty if you do not have a regular tool truck. Did mr. Joe get his transit pos fixed yet. The diesel doctors and brent can do job. Keep the tool truck options coming.

Nope he had to take it to another dealer. He acted ugly to the tech and they refused to work on it.
Just purchased the nano metric
I like the fact they put a hex at the base of the Nano sockets so you can turn them with a wrench too, or stick them in a ratcheting wrench.
do you know the part number for the upgrade kit for the 3/8 metric that goes up to 24 m
You can never have enough sockets with that being said. I don't have any of these nano short dudes and I know Astro makes high quality tools. The price and return policy says it all for me.
nice but everytime I look for them in 3/8 they are not available if i get them i want to get sae and metric but i haven't been able to find them or the add on set for metric 78319upd do they make a add on set for sae
Those seem like great deals as long as their warranty is what they say it is

I’m certain it will be more shallow just because of the depth of the socket ? I try not to use universals unless i have to do so. I mainly use these on the Nano impact or right angle. You can really get in some tight spots with these

You will have to get with the manufacturer that built the body. Just because it is a Ford doesn’t mean they are all the same. Ford just sells the truck as a cab chassis and a body builder does the rest. They are all different.

Just sounded funny to hear you mixing imperial and metric we would say 1.1cm as the .1 being a division of 10 mm or 1cm. loving the videos keep up the good work. @@jasonhill9502 on this side of the pond, it’s common to use fractional measurements or decimal measurements interchangeable. 1/8 inch = 0.125 and deep inch and so forth. It is a bit more complicated than the Metric measurements.
