Sunex Low Profile Impact socket compared to Astro Nano sockets

Just a quick video showing how similar the Astro pneumatic nano impact sockets are to the Sunex low profile impact sockets. Both stubby, Short, and very handy. Both have lifetime warranty.

Cool. I just got the Astro metric long set (6-24mm, no skips)...very nice. Paired up an m12 stubby impact, ratchet and Tekton extra long handle flex head ratcheting wrench (17 x 19mm), it will do work..

Sunex has a set that has the metric, SAE, ratchet, and comes in a foam tray for around $60. I wasn’t sure if they were bigger than the Astro, but your video is exactly what I was looking for. Gonna get those Sunex in the next few weeks hopefully.

Awesome thank you for watching. A set would be great. And 60 with a ratchet is a fair price. I wonder how good the ratchet is.

I had sunex but to me they feel like they will crack under good pressure so I sold them. Now I have the astros and they hold up well

@@drew5992 I ended up going Astro. Got the 3/8 and 1/2 drive in metric. Probably gonna get the SAE soon. They’ve done well and I like them quite a bit.

Where did you get that drive adapter? I see it in your other socket rail for the nano impact socket? I have the Astro nano socket wrench and I want to put regular sockets on it

I just ordered the Astro 3/8" set, 6mm-24mm for a job I am doing @ $57. Also bought the Capri 1/2" set, 10mm - 24mm @ $39. I really could have used these the other day when working on thisCummins ISX motor. More than a few 24mm nuts and bolts on these motors, along with tight spaces. Sunex, unfortunately did not come up in my search, I have quite a few of their pieces and have been more than happy with their products. And I have to agree, these nano sockets look like they come off the same line.

I'm liking the tripod! You interested in doing tool destruction? I'd love some of that stuff and I know others will too. The thing is, Clientgraphics uploads so scarcely that we end up missing some tool violence. Just an idea.
