This was a awful list. The guys didnt seem to know orks well, they didnt roll d6 to save models from when near certain characters. Used killa cans which are terrible Didnt use the big mek shooka gun HQ or the dread wagh and didn't use evil suns smh

I get the same feeling as a beginner to the Warhammer40k and I choose orks I lose a lot but I'm the one having the most fun

Those mortar shots were rough, even as a Guard player I shuddered at how badly those rolling barrages hurt.

Always love it when the imperial guard stomps.

It's always great when a band gets their inspiration from a work of fantasy or science fiction.

I guess that one of the best ways to win with IG is just to do the opposite of what is instructed i.e. field as few infantry as possible. Use the points for vehicles. Go the way of the cheese. Then become exiled from your local club, even by the Tau players.

Guard Infantry are just as absurd as guard tanks, and actually better versus most armies. Point efficiency wins games, and guard is all about point efficiency. SM still stomp them though, because SM stomp everything.

I never thought to see an army more numerous than the guard on the board, generally things are on the other way around.

Luka actively rooting against Josh is the best thing.

I kinda feel like 8th edition took all the fun out of mortars and grenades and stuff. I started playing with Assault on Black Reach and LOVED the scatter dice and templates for explosions. Now it's like "I want to shoot mortars at them, okay you hit them" no splash damage, no collateral damage nothing. Just point and roll dice. Doesn't seem fun at all. You also had orks shooting "rokkits" and only get 1 die each? The chances of missing are so high. For a fucking rocket. Idk I'm not liking 8th edition the more I watch videos about it

Milky Ultra he did say it was pretty much his entire astra collection maybe he doesn’t have much more infantry to add I ‘now my astra collection is mostly vehicles cause they’re such pretty models

I know this was for fun but dam that was brutal after turn one it was over , still fun to watch though glad to see some orks hope to see more!

Your orks are way better painted than mine. But mine, despite not looking as good as yours, are painted by me and me alone, baptized in sweat, blood and tears and I love them all. My army is a part of me.

Both lovely painted armies, really like the hellhammer for the guard. Its a Very nice centre piece model.

First time of watching guys, great videos keep it up. Really funny in places!

What size base is that Mekadread? I want to make one using the new Buggy kits like a Megas XLR thing, but it’s hard to judge how big a base.

The armies look good, but my god what a horrible batrap balance wise. 80% of the batrap consists of josh his shooting phase and removing ork models from the table.

Like it even mattered. It was such an unbalanced match that the Guard could have have skipped every phase but the shooting and still have won

I used to play IG in like 5 edition and i always wonder where the medusa atry piece went? has it been written out? i mean a str 10 ap 2 large blast at 36 cm range was quite fun

I think the rules were in forgeworld IA books, with the data sheets now you can just pull it out and see, though with the way blast weapons work now they're probably not as capable :)

CDs as Objective Markers is a nice touch

I would have liked to see a preliminary bombardment used at the start. That many enemy units on the field, it would have actually been worth the 2 CP to use it! Great game though!

Looks like air brush off-white over a dark base and then paint the details (guns/eagles etc).

The Scions shots only explode into more hits if the detachment they are a part of only consists of Militarum Tempestus units or exception units

999 outta 10 as per usual, you guys are the leaders in tabletop. Theres just something about astramilitarum shooting guns for 20 minutes straight each turn that bores me and I skipped every round and just watched the orks. I totally get thats what astra mili do, its just not for me :D luka getting salty on josh is hilarious lol!

Gotta say, I'm so happy that 8th Edition fixed the Malcador tanks. Now I can bring them along with the Russ and get my money's worth. Also, I love how well painted your tanks are. I'm jealous, considering how bad I am.

Might help to try and show LOS a little bit, because on that first turn it did not look like that executioner could see the dreads as it was sitting behind a building, and they were behind a rock.

Forgeworld calls em cyclops, they based them off German WW2 Goliaths so I think I just lapse back into calling them that.

Just putting in a thing i read last time i played, Falling back means you can't shoot,advance or charge. The FLY rule only applies to shooting, so deffdread was fudging the rules major there.

That Ork army though...

He mentioned not missing the days of Bullgryns in Valkyries with a Priest. Has there been a rule change to prevent that, or they just not do that anymore because it's cheese?

If you haven't found out already, check Victoria miniatures. They do lots of guard compatible stuff
