That plastic ECU is the valet key. You still get a glass key! Also I swear the 0-60 on the GT8 is 4.1. Great video guys!!!

What a treat, great introduction to the weekend guys! This generation of Aston Martin although out of date even when launched just seem to become more and more desirable. I think they reveal what we are increasingly losing with recent sports and super cars.

One the best car channel on this platform!!!

He was right to get it at list price (or perhaps a discount). I'm not crazy about his spec, but there's no doubting it's an awesome car, with a passionate GT8 club to organise events.

Bloody Nora, what a pair of Brutes (I'm referring to the Astons). Great video chaps, really enjoyed it as usual. That manual GT8 has to be the Heinz 57 of the Beanage world. Incredible. Made me growl out loud, and I'm not afraid to admit it.

Two awesome cars, the likes of witch won’t be seen again. They sound amazing. Great work with the sound recording. The GT8 sounds very bullit mustang from some of the angles. The movie car that is. The first time you gave it some beanage was great. It sounded fairly normal while you cruised along chatting and went absolutely feral when you stepped on it. 👌🏻

Hurricane analogy was Genius - Dr Bez, was a clever guy and he also did the Messerschmitt 993

Both stunning, both well out of my reach. I’ll have to make do with having those two watches on my shopping list for 2020. Another great video, thanks!

Guys as always a great review, loved finding and subscribing to your channel. Both amazing cars I had a V8 and now have a 12S, these two take it up another level. Definitely a valet key on the GT8 and I hope you did not drive the GT12 too far without the sport button pressed, I am guessing like my 12S it speeds up the changes taking them from glacial against a DCT to being just 1970's paced. No shortage of noise. My neighbour has a V8 so between the two of us we terrorise the peace and quite of inner city Sydney in the morning.

I was so looking forward to you guys reviewing the Vantage gt8 but you also got a v12 one,great surprise entertaining as always

It doesn’t matter, the Vantage (old model) is a gorgeous looking car.

Really enjoyed that, especially the in car segments and banter. I wonder if one could get close to the aural thrill with a regular (and thus significantly cheaper) Vantage V8 with titanium exhaust for the NASCAR soundtrack? Great stuff. Thanks.

Used to see a green gt12 in Swindon.. the owner also was lucky enough to have a Vulcan 🖖 as well

One of your best guys you need a GT8 in the garage 😎 Blank the new cars go for best of used for 2021. That titanium exhaust is off the scale

Damien, the Crystal key is there but there is also the basic version to use when you want to protect the crystal or better to say lower the probability of a 2 grand replacement when fallen down :-) So you were given the "basic" key for normal use :D I use it when just going to the car in winter storage and so on. When driving always go "crystal"

Best video ever. Gt8 on my wish list just for that noise.

Fantastic video guys, loved it. The GT8 is probably slower than a mid range M car these days, but who cars. It has an emotional connection that moderns could only dream about. I’ll take the GT8, in green 😎❤️👍

How’s the reliability of the V12? Is maintenance more expensive than the V8 since it’s a big V12 shoehorned into a small chassis with lot more space?

Does Dave live in Wiltshire as I see a GT12 in that colour on the way to work! I'd love to have a ride in it!

IMO Aston currently makes the best looking cars. Drop dead sexy and those two take it over the top.

Orwellian device is never a phrase I thought I would hear used to describe a gear box (maybe a Tesla though?). Fair play, always original.

I think the key Damian was holding in the GT8 was the spare "ECU". Shmee150 has the crystal one with his GT8.

Please Gents, give us a Dogleg 7 speed manual V12S review. I bet you would be smitten ! Would love to hear your impressions !
