Instead of EV’s why don’t we focus on hydro cars. They have been around for a long time and was never given attention. Even when some people tried to bring awareness about it, they were killed. Almost like the govt never wanted them or even allowed them to be developed. I think we should look into it.

If we really wanted clean we’d use hydrogen produced via green energy, electrics are a political decition.

This is such an easy problem to solve. Ferrari has a very effective model. If you flip within 18 months of delivery, you NEVER get a new car from them again. You get blacklisted. I know someone who is a heavy hitter in the collector car market and the lure of easy money was too much and flipped a car and he will now never get another new Ferrari. There is also no dealer mark up on a new Ferrari.

A car is worth whatever anybody will pay for it. End of. Don't buy one comes to mind. But if your desire is such and you have the money then you're the mug in this. Don't complain afterwards when you were part of its construction.

I bought one of the first Bentley W-12 Continental GT’s in 2005. That particular model had not been made since 1952 and I wanted to get one of the first ones. I’ve really taken care of the car serviced it ,everything you would want in one of these cars. It just turned 20,000 miles and handles and drives like it’s new and actually looks like new . I could probably sell it for $2000 and a ham sandwich because 99% of the people that want them better not ever buy one.. If you really feel like you should buy a used Bentley ,I would reconsider, because of it’s maintenance costs, I would suggest something cheaper like adopting triplets.

Ive had completely switch my route to my work at least 10+ miles out of my way just to find a road surface with minimal lesser dangerous potholes because the narrow lanes I used to use (because of the minimal options from A to B) got so bad after the flooding earlier this year I got tired of the focus needed to keep a mental map of them all. A huge one I liked to call a moon crater (although nothing like the one in this video) appeared very quickly one day and took me by surprise. I hit it at a good rate of knots, my TPMS went off in seconds, tyre destroyed, no spare only puncture repair fluid, had to sit in an inn in bumfuck nowhere for 4 hours waiting for a recovery. Its time road tax was ringfenced for actual roads. We also need a regulatory agency, DoT or something, that takes reports of damage from potholes and provides compensation directly, THEN fines the council responsible for where it happened a significant multiple of the cost of the damage for every single incident. I reckon shit would get fixed real quick.

There’s actually no Porsche problem. The issue is cost of living goes up and people unload their luxuries first. You’re not going to make money on these cars unless you actually have a special one not a run of the mill touring

This will offend many, but the Taycan probably isn't selling since you can get the Model S Plaid with better performance, much better range, much better charging network, superior software, superior motor, over the air updates, FSD, Frunk, Infotainment, and much better reliability for half the price.

aren't we thinkign about this wrong. in the "good old days" GT's were really limited, so fat chance ever getting one. if you really are in it for the drive and not the resale, then its beneificial for them to make more like they are doing now. the pricess will go down as soon as the .2 models come so there will be more for people to get in the used market. if they did it the old way, there wouldnt be enough and still only the guys on top would have it. feels like you're not looking at the big picture

The presenters are talking about exchange values. Falling exchange values matter to those consumers who want to sell a car to buy another car. Depreciation for them means having less money for the next car. They also matter to speculators. They are buying commodities. They are are seeking advantageous market arbitrage opportunities. In the consumer sector, depreciation is unfortunate. In the speculator sector, who cares about speculators. If a buyer purchases a car for the substantive value of the car and if the buyer is satisfied with the purchase, then the buyer loses no value whatsoever.

Lovely car, but don’t dismiss the series 1 as ugly. The headlight design was a nod to the American fashion of the time that also made it to Rolls Royce/Bentley in the day. It is a charming piece of history. Apart from the headlights and the front quarter panel grill the design of the exterior is virtually identical between series 1 and 2. Both are beautiful cars.

UK grid is 50% renewable. Manufacturing emissions still tiny compared to lifetime petrol emissions. Petrol cars massively inefficient at turning petrol to miles at the wheels vs petrol to electric then miles at the wheel in an EV. Petrol cars still far far worse than EVs.

The minute KZreadrs start reporting crashes in car prices, valuations rise, as folks think, ah maybe now’s the time to invest . Why is modern Porsche ownership all about investing & prices ? I had a 1979 SC, an ‘89 G50 convertible, and not a word about investment, just driving the nuts off ‘em!
