A 1992 car is not even remotely up to speed with a 2004 car. The 2004 Ferarri still holds most of the lap records.

Nope, Schumacher is still very much alive but the state of his health has been kept private by his family. Last reports (from 2016) is that he is out of a coma and continuing rehabilitation from the family's Swiss home. Schumacher has been able to stand with the assistance of those treating him. Other than that, I'm not too sure what else has been happening. I'm sure one could search online for more.

​@Have-a- Cigar He's basically a vegetable or close to one. He's technically conscious, confined to a wheel chair most of the time (can't stand for any extended period of time or walk on his own) rarely speaks and requires 24/7 care.

Jimmy, back in 2004 I had the luck to be working with this car every other weekend and I remember how it was so beautiful to look at even when stationary, in bits, in the garage. I don't recall so many dials on the wheel though, nor the digital display....but I did have a lot to be doing so not sure. edit.....just found a period onboard and seems I misremembered. Good job Kunos

It amazes me how easily you comment on everything while driving almost faultlessly an F1 car! While I'm driving a car in a simulation game I do strugle to remember about blinking man!

Actually this is one of the easiest to drive F1 cars in Assetto Corsa. This guy makes it ever easier to drive!

you should see Assetto corsa in a modded RedBull Racer going 400 MPH ! the sim can replicate the speed !!! and it is a real pisser to see and drive that fast.

Łukasz Pająk it used to be the same for me ! This is an advice from a friend who race in nascar MEXICO But i tried to relax, while trying to go first at half the pace i used run, but working on my sensations, starting from the shoulders and then in to the wrists holding the wheel ,

when i was 6 i was watching Schumacher race and i was a fan of him, well, back then, i didnt really notice how good he really was. I just liked the color red and he conveniently was in a red car, so i automatically liked him, every time i would hear "And Schumacher wins another grand prix!!" i was like, hey, the guy in the red car won, yay!... but today i really understand what an amazing skill and talent he had, and i will always remember him as the person, who made me love racing for decades to come...

Hey Jimmy you should decrease the wings even more, Schumacher had over 345 km/h on sector deltas and over 350 on main straight in 2004

had to watch this video for a second time as its that good, been also having fun with this car today but boy I need VR. I'm a huge Schumi fan and remember seeing F1 live at the USGP in 2000(04 car in dlc) and was sitting right across Michaels pit box in the stands and got binoculars out and when he came out it was exciting putting helmet on and such, getting in car. Then when everyone came out onto track for their installation lap they all came in but Schumi and what a glorious sound it was.

I finally purchased the DLC specifically for the F2004. I must say that it is sim racing single seater NIRVANA! I’ve obviously never driven a real F1 car and never will but this car is everything I’ve ever imagined it to be after watching it live and watching all the KZread clips of it over the years. The sound of the V10, the thumping and crackle of the traction control are all perfectly replicated. I must’ve completed 80 laps tonight alone with this car around the RedBull Ring. Great job Kunos!!

You sound like your commenting on an actual race, while driving an F1 car. The grunts in the turns, the exasperation when exiting a curve, being winded at the end like you just ran a marathon.... EXCELLENT JOB!!

Wow Jimmer... a really emotional video. I have so much good memories of watching F1 with my dad every racing weekend and playing racing video games with him. Kind of killed hime with my choice of words I think :P he's still alive! but since I've moved to a different house it's just not the same to wake up to watch F1 or any other race. We're working on racing online together to fix part of that at least! I'm a Schumi fan too and from the 90s to 2000s I grew up watching and admiring this man, even if the races weren't always the most exiting ones, you just had to feel happy for the guy in red cheerfully jumping in the podium and enjoying each win as the first one. He really marked my childhood and watching you have a blast driving this sim and hearing your words... you made me feel old, sad, happy and nostalgic all in one video hahaha! I know it doesn't sounds like it after that sentence, but this video made my entire day =) Thank you man!

I just got this and in VR this car could honestly be the best thing I have ever driven in any sim, it's that good.

Lifelong Ferrari supporter here. I've been following the Circus since the mid-eighties, so I have very vivid memories of the Schumacher era. This virtual rendition of the F2004 drives so close to the real thing that it makes Jimmy's video an authentic trip back in time for me, and I'm sure most F1 fans of my age could relate. Also, your skills behind the wheels are just great, Jimmy. I mean, I'm not even sure I would endure 3 minutes of such extreme VR racing, let alone commenting on the experience at the same time. I would probably think of Michael and tear up with the headset still on. Yes, racing a car can get this emotional, and this is why I love motorsports. Jimmy's videos are a pretty good reminder of that. Thank you, man.

Didn't know you were a Schumi fan Jimmer. He was my idol back then, from when I started watching F1 as a 5 year old back in 2000. Just seeing that red car with his familiar red helmet, and I knew my all-time favourite driver was going to give us a masterclass in racing. Also, top job to Kunos on this F2004. Looks amazing, handles great and *almost* sounds like the real thing.

F2004 is one of the fastest f1 cars made to this day. Some of the lap records set in the car still stand, while many tracks have been changed since and there were a few races in that season that had rain.

I get those feels without vr, best way to play is to immerse your self as much as possible, if vr helps then cool, i dont need one lol keep it up jimmer!
