im so impressed, i never thought of using threads to secure my work together before i actually sew it together. this is so obvious and so overlooked. only very sensitive materials will be getting clips now and i can pretty much ditch my pins

Thread marking and basting are the original way to stitch and mark. We can learn so much by studying historical methods.

Check out Toiler Tuck And if you want challenge, Try to not relying on pre-made commercial patterns. I don’t know exactly about South Korean tho. But I kinda believe mostly everywhere besides westerners countries, there aren’t any commercial patterns available. Hell… I found more patterns making tutorials in my language or Indian English …etc. then in English in both quantity and variety. (I mean video that not “altering commercial patterns” or “what the patterns called for”)

I really enjoy watching this making a suit process ...as for me it's like a therapy seing people do handsew on suit .... it's not easy to make one I'm sure especially for me a person with zero sewing basic .. watching you do it as easy as ABC. Kindly show us step by step. And also what kind of fabric you're using.Thank you.

Oh my god. The stitches mark the lines on both sides so it matches perfectly. I've been trying to mark both pieces with chalk with disasterous results. This makes so much sense.

Sadly there isn't much to show for ASMR. Since the next steps is for the customer to have a final fitting, then they sew it with a machine and that's it. Customer isn't a part of this channel and machine sewing wouldn't be a pleasant ASMR lol

They called marking stitches. U transfer the chalklines through all the layers, since the chalk is only on one piece and also on the left side, so the inside of the fabric. Later, when the jacket is lined, you will not be able to see the chalklines, therefore u have the little stitches. Most of them stay through the whole process of the making and get only replaces when the piece is almost done
