Springbok, I just wanted to say, I can't believe I stumbled back on your channel after all this time: I subscribed years ago, well before you did the Mass Effect art ASMR video and you helped get me through a good chunk of my teenage-anxiety based sleep issues. The moment I saw you were back just now, I had to unsubscribe and resubscribe just to make sure your notifications got prioritised on my feed. I'm so glad you're back and thanks for all your content!

Literally gasped out loud when I saw this-your shopkeep videos have always been some of my favorites because of your demeanor. delivery, and knack for personal attention and really making a person feel like they're the only customer in the world. Being a record collector in real life, this was such a treat, and it being a sister video with Matt is just the cherry on top. Absolutely amazing delivery as always-thank you for another incredible video!

Springbok, when I discovered you in 2014 you became one of the few ASMR channels that I would go back to watch throughout the years. It kind of makes me nostalgic.I remember first watching your videos in high school. I'm glad you're back and that you still enjoy making these videos like back then!

Both of our record stores have albums with bananas as artwork. Coincidence? I THINK NOT. I have no idea what it means, but it clearly means something.

Spring- this was a beautiful reply! I came here to say something similar. My boys are 10 and 6 and full of energy, requests to play football (I always end up in goal!) and a lot of questions. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had! So important to have alone time also. I walk the dog with a true crime podcast every day ❤️ make sure you don’t loose that one thing a day just for you. X

You’re very welcome! I have always only really gotten triggered from very natural soft speaking, so even back in my early days I only rarely did whisper videos although the community was largely still known as “Whispering” rather than “ASMR.” Thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoy! ❤️

I used to work in a record and CD store - it was a lot of busy work, inventory and stocking and restocking and cashier work. Maybe 5% of my time overall though was spent helping customers who genuinely did want to find a certain CD for nostalgia purposes, or really wanted to explore some new alt rock or jazz bands. Best memories there were showing new music to customers, and helping customers find their favorite music, just like this video
