Casual Q & A Ramble with light typing

Ойын-сауық

I am testing a new mic so I decided to make a little bonus content answering some of your questions. Thank you for all of the sweet, fun, and thoughtful queries on my original post. I'm very sorry that I cannot answer them all here, but I'll try to return to the community page periodically and answer more. Forgive the very quiet and imperfect audio--that's exactly why I test my mics. Thank you for being a part of it! I'll have a real video coming quite soon! Happy 4th to all my American friends!

Kinda wish the answers were shorter & more questions answered but it’s still relaxing. Not one of my favorites but I’ve got plenty to choose from in that vain on her channel 💜 I mean no disrespect by this I love her videos but over sharing on a handful of questions isn’t a q&a. The deeper questions or more lengthy could be made into a few videos like get to know me rambles & life updates. 💜

I appreciate your message about parenthood; I judge myself harshly when it comes to being a father. My wife recently passed away a month after the birth of our 5th child. She was a stay at home Mom and so loving and tender in ways I fail to be.. and I am scrambling to pick up the peices of our life while missing her as the most important person in my life. The struggle is real. Let's all try our best and let go of the outcome.

I cannot express my condolences properly--nobody should have to endure the kind of loss and suffering you and your family are experiencing. I know nothing I can say will make it any easier for you, but I can tell that the love you have for her lives on inside you. It lives inside your children, too. Together, you each hold precious parts of her and can reflect her love upon one another. Please trust that your heart holds all the love and all the strength that your family needs, even if it looks different than hers, even if it feels imperfect or incomplete. Because it IS everything. And I am wishing you love and comfort.

Your wisdom and kind voice are so helpful to me right now. I am not a mother but have become a caregiver, and I find myself judging myself for imperfection without realizing it. Your comment to "Just save a sliver of that grace for yourself" is very meaningful. You make a difference to so many people. I have been sending you prayers for healing. Thank you, and take care of yourself. -- Melissa

Wonderful. Possibly the only person on KZread who truly “gets” ASMR. I have banged on about it before, but it’s absolutely NOT sexual. Springbok’s interview when reviewing a photo portfolio remains a high water mark for me. My first encounter with ASMR happened when I was around 9 or 10 years old. I had a scrapbook of WW2 aircraft, and we had an insurance agent who collected my parent’s subscriptions on a Friday. He took an interest in my scrapbook, and sat intently looking at each page. It was (I think) that act which triggered ASMR for the first time. Basically, my brain felt like it was floating in a warmed bowl of syrup. On the rare occasions that ASMR is triggered, it tends to be when someone takes an interest in something I have created (especially written work). Springbok’s interview is to this day, the only video that triggers ASMR every single time I listen to it.

I arrived at the beach this morning and just set up camp with my toes in the sand, ready to listen to your voice alongside the waves. ❤️ I just got to your desert island question, and hearing you speak about Germinal brings back memories. I was a sophomore in college when I first found your channel nearly a decade ago, and I had no idea what I wanted to study or major in. You inspired a love in me back then and are actually a massive reason why I ended up with a degree in English Literature. I’ve been teaching high school English for seven years now, and you play a large role in that, which I find quite special really. 🥰 Thank you for leading me to my passion-I am continuously wishing you the best, Spring.

You just made this a very special day for me. I’m completely honored and touched, but all the hard work and all the passion were yours alone. I know I have no claim to be proud of you, but I still feel so much pride and admiration and joy for you. You are changing lives every day, love. So you enjoy those waves and please know that I’m out here rooting for you. Your students are very lucky. ❤️

Thank you. These are wise words that I needed to hear. I’ve struggled with mental health for a while, thinking I don’t deserve love or happiness to one day be a dad or a husband. Of course mental health is constant maintenance, but this eased things. Thank you.

You are so kind and I am so sorry to have worried you! I sort of agonize over how much to talk or not talk about it, because I know people come here for refuge and thoughts of illness are not relaxing. Please know I am in good hands, and while my cancer is not curable, it is very slow-growing and treatable. That means I will have many, many good years to enjoy this beautiful life and hopefully share lots of comforting content with delightful people like you. I'll keep you in my positive thoughts, too. 😻

Hi Spring, just wanted to say THANK YOU for coming back. You couldn't have posted this video at a more perfect time. I am enlisting into the military this fall, and while i'm excited, my nerves do get the better of me at times. Your videos are my favorite way to end the day, and put me right to sleep. They're also great for a mid-day pick me up. The relief and sense of calm your videos bring are like no other. Thank you for all you do.

He covers a lot of creepy content, I highly recommend his video on the Yuba County Five, one of my favourite mysteries. He’s not so much a fiction creator, he talks about ARGs and real life mysteries, but all his work is very atmospheric and very high quality!

Hi Spring. On the theme of sharing uplifting things- I just adopted a new kitten and she’s sleeping on my lap as I watch this 😊. For KZreadrs, I’d recommend Gemma Wheeler Architecture (she reimagines disused buildings), Imamu Room (a cooking channel) and Real Horror (who does true crime but, I would say, in an ethical and well-thought-through way).

You mentioned you wanted us to recommend KZread channel that we like and I have one I really enjoy called The Happy Console Gamer. He is a guy that has a wife and child and makes videos about games he is playing or that his wife is enjoying but from a personal and happy perspective. He makes really nice videos talking about games and his memories over the years and is just generally a very kind and positive person so I recommend watching one of his videos.
