Thank you for all the sweet words, good feedback, and great video ideas! Quick note: Somebody pointed out that mid-roll ads were running on videos so I've been going through my catalogue trying to shut those off. If you see any videos that are still running mid-roll ads, feel free to reply to me here so I can look into it! I had somebody else keeping an eye on the channel for a while and when we switched it back, default settings went into place and I had no idea mid-rolls came with them. Sorry about that--what's more annoying than a loud ad harassing your mellow?! Fire ants, maybe? But only fire ants.

That means so much to me. I am really soft-hearted, and I used to see that as a huge liability. When I stopped making videos, I figured I would need to be much less personal if I came back someday. But it's important to me to show my son that feelings are a strength and inform so many ways of knowing. And I've realized that the only way I can actually give comfort is if I come from an authentic and open place in my heart. So I just want to thank you, and really, everyone else here, for seeing the value in that and being supportive. I cannot tell you how lucky I feel to be able to talk into a microphone and know I am talking to friends. 💖

Haha, I wanted to give it a filter to set it apart a little from the actual role-play. I could definitely use that filter in real life though: My cat just tried to drink my iced coffee and I said no and now he's glowering at me like I'm pure evil. 😈😅

In college I had some horribly traumatic stuff happen to me and I unraveled hard. I couldn’t sleep, I spent my nights pacing and panicking. Your bunny hotel video and Cosmictingle’s cranial nerve honestly got me through the worst year of my life. They were relaxing enough to where I could put things to the back of my head and get some sleep. Thank you for what you do and I’m so glad you’re back :)

omg that's incredible!! What an amazing life! I volunteer at our local state veterans home. We have a WW2 Marine, he's 99 turning 100 this year. Both my grandfathers were also in WW2, one in the navy in submarines and one in the army.

I feel exactly the same way about history. I worked for a history museum for three years and it was the best experience. Also very happy to see you again.

My grandfather was a bomber mechanic in WW2. Mostly worked on B-24s in North Africa and Italy. I have his journals. A lot of crazy stuff happened to his unit and the air crews he served with.

i originally typed something i thought would be funny and witty celebrating a cool video and your return but i want to say thanks. This might get lost in the thousand other joyous words, but your own "thank you" at the beginning... im far from family. trying to help these beautiful, under represented souls rebuild in the wake of a year old fire. some people are here for the check. Most are here to help because we dont know anything else. Maybe because in some of us, we carry intimate knowledge of loss or helplessness. Some of us caused the pain in our lives with anger and now we try to heal anything that can be. Whatever else some of my co workers or I may feel... It is deeply comforting for those of us who feel alone, to know that there are others (so high in number, we share niches), that understand the potential of the heart. I have such respect and gratitude for you and your content. Thank You Spring. i nearly cried.

So ecstatic that you're back! Your poetry video with the poem of T.S. Eliot is one of my all time favorites, as well as the Mass Effect video, so incredibly relaxing.

Your videos have a very special place for me! It was a very carefree time in my life when it was all about xbox360 and hanging out with friends! Endless summers and just pure joy. Borderlands, Mass effect, etc! Any of your videos could be a favorite but the land lady reading still takes me back to that point in time and gives me so much nostalgia and happiness! I’m so happy you’re back! It’s just like seeing a friend after years apart. ❤

Since it seems like you’re sometimes replying, I must ask a question I’ve always had … you said in your “thank you in many languages” video that Swedish “tak” sounds like one of your “favorite bands, [attakkatak?]”. Were you talking about Attack Attack ?!

On your very first ASMR video (animal shelter adoption), I wrote, "I don't know if you're taking requests but could you do a ASMR video as a waitress at a fancy restaurant? I really enjoy how waiters and waitresses are so knowledgeable about the menu and how they explain the ingredients of an entree. Your positive and glowing demeanor would be perfect for this. Plus not many ASMR artists on KZread do this type of ASMR." And you replied, "Amazing idea! I will absolutely do this one. I love that too.

Wow awesome video. What made that bomb sight extra special was that it connected directly to the bombers traction control lines and essentially acted like a control stick for the entire bomber. With other bombers of the day the pilot would fly and the bombardier would have to hope everything lined up right using radios to communicate between them. But with this new bomb sight the bombardier actually flew the plane using the sight himself. You're after my heart with this video. I love aviation and history. I'd love more of these kind of videos. A fun video would be about all the whacky prototype and concept aircrafts they were cooking up back then.

Oh, I LOVE that idea for a video. I didn't know that about the bombsight! That's so cool. The Norden is fascinating to me--just its historiography alone is interesting. There was so much misinformation about its values and limitations and a lot of strategy in what was fed to be publicly understood about it. You seem like you have some real expertise! If I do get around to making another aviation video I might hit you up for some fact-checking if you'd ever feel like it!

@SpringbokASMR I'd be glad to help anytime. I'm by no means an expert, but I am a turbo prop mechanic with a passion for aviation and history. I must have read almost 100 books on the topic at this point and seen probably every documentary as well. Tried to become a naval aviator, but it wasn't in the card, so I got out after 4 years and started fixing planes (mostly little crop dusters) in Texas. Just holler if you need anything. And welcome back of course.

I love hearing you teach! I still love those rhetoric lectures so much. This is great.

The legend has returned! Stronger, more confident, well trained and on a mission! Lets go!!
