In this interesting and relaxing ASMR Map video I am exploring parts of the USA. This is an ASMR Google Maps video to help you fall asleep.

This is a Google Maps Tour of the USA and an ASMR Maps video. The video is calming and relaxing, hopefully helping you with sleep problems and insomnia. I am speaking in a male deep voice with a Welsh accent and switch between a soft spoken and a whispered voice.

Twp is the abbreviation of Township. When the US established the Northwest Territories in the 1780’s (the name for the Midwest at the time), most of the region was laid out with perfectly square areas of land, and were called townships. This is the origin of the many square municipal borders in states like Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Illinois.

Duluth, Minnesota was the city on the far west of Lake Superior you glanced at. Its a very old and historic shipping port city for all the other areas connected by the Great Lakes. The lakes are so large they basically act as oceans with their own weather systems. Very skilled sailors around those areas, and lots of great midwest history.
If you find the upper peninsula to be interesting you'll probably be interested to read about the Toledo War. Ohio and Michigan nearly went to war over where their border was drawn due to the importance of the port city of Toledo. It was given to Ohio and as consolation Michigan was given the upper peninsula. So really the only loser of the conflict was Wisconsin.
Illinois! I moved to Chicago from Dortmund and it’s been quite the culture shock for me. I’ve lived in Norwich as well so been around quite a few places but I do love Chicago so far. HEJA BVB and Vamos Fire. My local Chicago club has Shaqiri playing for them. I’m of Albanian descent so I love it.

The Twp thing is interesting; it's an abbreviation for township, but of course in Welsh the "w" can produce a vowel sound, making "twp" into a pronounceable word...

Wisconsin! I’d say look at Milwaukee/Madison but also check out the Door Peninsula (the part sticking out into Lake Michigan) and the north woods. The apostle islands on the coast of Lake Superior are beautiful
I live in Chicago but I used to live in Cedar Rapids and am always amazed when it randomly comes up.

Do you think you could set aside time for a state like Pennsylvania? We have great sites from Raystown Lake to the obvious Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and also have great high point views like big mountain overlook in franklin county :)

There's not much of note in Iowa, but Des Moines is pronounced "de Moyn" and Sioux sounds like "Soo" - it refers to a Native American tribe.
