Map of South America [ASMR]
In this relaxing ASMR maps video I am looking at an atlas with maps of South America on a paper map and doing some map tracing using a bamboo stick pointer. This is an ASMR ramble about World history and geopolitics with an map of South America.
I am speaking in a male deep voice with a Welsh accent and switch between soft spoken and whisper voice. Today we look at Brazil, Argentina, Chile and more.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure Suriname is its own country. They were a Dutch colony and territory but they’ve been independent for a while I think

Just wanted to add… as someone whose family is from Paramaribo… the inflection is on “MAR”. You have the first part right-but instead of saying “mareebo” it should really be said “MAReebo”. Does that make sense?ParaMAReebo. Most of the online pronunciation videos and soundbites about this are comically wrong. I’m always so impressed with your knowledge of accents and pronunciation, I just had to fix that one. You had me in stitches last night when you struggled with “arboretum” in one of your other videos and called yourself out on it. I love that you speak 7000 languages and nail every word… except arboretum. ❤ Thank you for everything you do. My only complaint-if you can call it that-is that your videos aren’t four hours long. Can’t get enough.

Also Kralendijk isn’t the island. It’s the capital of the island Bonaire. It was kind of cut off but yeah

Yes, technically true, although Melilla and Ceuta are in Marrocco and owned by Spain, does that count? (Digging deeper...)

He didn’t say that Europe was connected to Africa, though. He said that Europe, Asia and Africa are all connected as one landmass. Europe is connected to Asia, and Asia is connected to Africa. This leads some to consider them one massive continent.
Your description of the population of the Falkland Islands is a bit... wrong. www.falklands.gov.fk/our-people The British Antarctic Survey uses the islands as a gateway to Antarctica but only has a small office with one or two people who work there. Some families have lived on the islands for many generations.
