Hello everyone! Since the previous "ASMR | Japanese Geisha Makeup (and Kimono)" was so well received, I am going to show you a makeup video again! I will show you the maiko style makeup, from the application of white powder to the coloring of eyebrows and lips.

Can I just say WOW her skin is flawless 😭 and those are THE most gorgeous hands I’ve ever seen 💖😭 I absolutely loved this video… my knees could NEVER stay like that for more than 2 min lol

All women with japanese blood in second degree had the same skin. I have that skin and hands (long and thin fingers)..😅
With my limited knowledge and understanding of makeup and traditional styling they are using, it gives me the impression that if one mistake is made her whole face will have to be cleaned and start anew. Respect for the makeup artist doing her flawless job!
That lady's skin is cleaner than a brand new polished mirror, respect

わたしもASMRのつもりで視聴したんですが…眠気飛びますよね
I love this video! seeing this 'behind the scenes' and the people that help the geisha and maiko into their traditional costumes is really important. from what i understand not just anyone can do maiko/geisha makeup (I could be wrong). Same with fitting Kimono, styling hair, etc. I love learning about ALL PARTS of the experience and the behind the scenes is one of my favorites. thank you for sharing this with us.

室内の照明具合は解決したろうに未だに白塗りを続けるのは 伝統尊重ということらしいが頑迷固陋ともいえる。 変えていいこともあるだろに。所詮慣れだろうから 白塗り無しも良しと思えば解決なのに。 誰が決めてんのか。京都の偉い婆さんか？
