On the Pokémon thing, Goomy is the little babby version, which evolves into Sliggoo (the snail), which in turn evolves into Goodra (the dragon). I could honestly listen to your rambles on various nerdy things for hours on end lol.

Librarian here! My fave genre is adult fantasy, so I was super stoked to hear you've been enjoying Brandon Sanderson! If I might make a recommendation, I suggest the Riryria Chronicles by Michael J. Sullivan! They scratch that adventurous fantasy itch and the chemistry between the two main characters makes for a lot of funny and touching moments! There's also a lot of spin-off books about them and the world they live in that are completely optional reads, but add so much to the world-building :)

Thanks for reminding me! I accidentally started at Revelations and meant to switch to Chronicles a few years back, but a few memories still make me smile. Eg. the shenanigans with the heavily guarded wizard and specifically the guard's reaction XD

Not that I don't love her roleplay vids but I love these videos of Amy directly talking to us. Her personality is so cool that the video is just chill and creates a vibe hoping we can see more of this.

The Cruel Prince series was mentioned and it literally pushed me outta my sleep. I LOVE that series omg. It got me out of a like 5 year reading slump. :)

I totally agree that ACOTAR is a great way to get back into reading. Even though Cruel Prince is meant to be aged younger its so so well researched and yeah the romance was a fun side plot. Love Holly Black! Also, Hitchhikers was my fave series of all time as a teen. No one I love your videos so much when we have such similar taste in books!

I am an avid listener from Ecuador so you can imagine my surprise when she mentioned Ecdor, I got excited for a little while hahahah

The doll girl in Pokémon is Sabrina and she's the Psychic gym leader and the Ghost type is strong against Psychic, so Ash goes and gets a Haunter. But the whole Gengar line is in the episode where Ash goes to find a Ghost type to beat Sabrina.

Tress of the Emerald Sea! I like Brando Sando books. That one had a really unique world to it with a neat magic system. The Stormlight Archinve is one of my favorite series. You might also like Warbreaker, its shorter and stand alone.

i personally think this gen had a lot of good pokemon, even with some looking more alien or machine like (which i will not deny), we got a lot of good animal based ones too (all starters, lokix, espathra, palafin, dondozo, and cetitan come to mind)

Something I found interesting about Tikka masala growing up in England. It was actually invented in Glasgow in the 1970's. Traditional Indian food usually is without a sauce or gravy, but I imagine a particularly stout Glaswegian asking if they could put any gravy on it. And so, Mr Aslam, the owner and creator of Tikka masala strolled back into his kitchen at the time and whipped up "the gravy" which now makes up the main ingredients for Tikka masala today! 😅😅 😅😅😅😅
