My head canon is that these robot overlords aren't even malicious or evil, but because they literally cannot understand human emotions well enough they don't realize how poorly they're treating people. Her description of the Salt Mines wasn't being intentionally misleading, but rather she genuinely thought it was a nice place and didn't understand the horror of being a slave miner.

The robots didn't really care too much, as any damage done to them wasn't really felt and could easily be repaired. Hell, the robots might have even enjoyed that place since it apparently looks very pretty. Then, somehow the robots took over and didn't get how dangerous those places were. They employ humans there since the humans did the same thing to them and the robots never minded, therefore why would the humans care either? Unfortunately robots just don't understand how delicate and weak humans are compared to them.

What i dont understand is: why do robots need salt?

The funniest thing to me is that the robots CLEARLY have the ability to create super advanced, hyper realistic faces (since they all look like real humans alreay), and yet they're out here supplying humans with these disturbing Uncanny Valley faces that they are VERY proud of

These ones were made by human designers and thus have real looking faces. But obviously the robots can't recreate that magic themselves and their pride seems to be pretty hurt by this fact.

It's probably because they didn't have to worry about stuff like collagen and oils and things, so ita just like a hyper reliatic mask rather than like, flesh, that produces oils and stuff

I found this video very sweet. I was deeply alienated growing up autistic and even today as an adult dont always feel human; this video was very grounding and made me feel like 'just another human, a generic one as they all share so many traits'. It was very nice to feel this way. It was comfortable and assuring.

I would love a series of this videos! It would be fun if we escape the salt mine and are being patched up by a survivor from the salt mine and he’s basically explaining his plan to go back to earth while patching us up and making us sleepy sleepy 😴

@@RenardoSilvao I haven't even tried pudding in the first place because you can't find it very easily where i live. It doesn't sound odd though because i gave eaten salted caramel and it's quite delicious so yeah, sweets do fit with salt. If the robots use salt for sweets, it is a worthy cause

Wasn't expecting to be roasted by my robot overlord for not aging gracefully. 😂

Now I could be looking too far into this. I understand that. At the same time, though, the other Robot Overlords in the previous videos all seemed much more un-human-like, calculated, stoic, and emotionless. This one seemed to want to prove a point that our Robot Overlords can create accurate art, almost annoyed or mad. Messing up words more, using less formal language, generally more.. human. I don’t care if it’s nothing, and obviously there’s nothing wrong with messing up words, but I’ve decided that in my head canon of this Robot ruled world, it’s something. Either this one is different, or they’re all becoming more human-like.

Huh, looks like the robot overlords did not believe that our escape attempt was just a series of accidents. And I thought our story was so convincing.

I will sleep well tonight although with a lot of pain caused by fibromyalgia but this video helped me a lot to abstract myself from the pain and relax a little better ❤️

No, that's NOT where we're headed. The panic over robots is so old that the idea was taken apart before they even existed, in the very play that created the word 'robot'. The fear of artificial intelligence is the displaced fear of the people who employ technology to police employees and citizens, and to drive up productivity at the cost of worker safety and well-being.

i'm completely in love with this series! the way you manage to make the characters so relaxing but slightly menacing at the same time 👏🏼👏🏼 it would be fun to see a continuation where you manage to escape the salt mines and you find a robot that has defected to the human side !

One of your best characters. She absolutely terrifies me, but I love her.

I think my favorite thing about this and the not cow series is the tone of voice like I love the way it’s so pleasantly neutral but a little uncanny. It adds some sensory interest or something idk but I’m obsessed. The non-human element isn’t overdone or too subtle it’s just great

Dude you pull this character off super well. Like you're somehow very relaxing while simultaneously making my skin crawl with how detached and "kindly" cruel she acts. Like specifically here at this part 12:14 she's so oddly unnervingly "matter of fact." It's creepy and horrible, but in a really fun and somehow relaxing way. Have you ever thought of like doing short films that aren't specifically ASMR? Just really interesting stories and characters? I think it'd be rather interesting.

This is such a fun series!! The overlord is personally examining us as to see how to control this rebellious behaviour, a few ideas that would be cool would be to meet other people in the salt mines who wanna break free or to finally break/hack the overload or maybe installing our new Face if we fail to escape again, but again brilliant stuff

I just wanted to say thanks. I found ASMR, and your videos in particular, when I was at a very low point with long COVID where virtually all forms of socialising and entertainment were too cognitively fatiguing and would cause my health to deteriorate further. Finding something that was so creative, funny and entertaining that also calmed my nervous system, instead of aggravating it, saved my mental health and marked the end of my decline and the start of my physical recovery. I'm not even exaggerating, the health metrics on my smart watch would literally improve in front of eyes from watching a video in a way that I had only ever seen before from sleep. I still have a long way to go but I am now able to see friends, go places and watch regular tv and movies again and that is massively thanks to you. Thanks for everything you do.

I love the way you “method act”, it shows the fact that you are in fact human, because the voice is not completely monotone, like one might perceive, and you are able to instill anxiety for the person who is being punished, the AMCU (Amy Kay Cinematic Universe) is quite the wild place, and has been growing for the last 4 or so years

I like the theory I read somewhere in the comments where the robot herself is being genuine in her praises and she doesn't know just how terribly the other Robot Overlords are treating the humans, since the robots must not understand how humans work since they only know how their own selves work. 😅
