ASMR: Glaucoma Eye Pressure Tests (roleplay)

Ойын-сауық

Welcome to this specific element form your eye examination.
This is an ASMR roleplay of you getting your eye pressures checked.
High pressure is a risk factor for developing Glaucoma.
I’ll be instilling some anaesthetic in your eyes and using the two Perkins models to obtain a reading.
Sit back and relax.

What is ASMR? According to Wikipedia:
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR), sometimes auto sensory meridian response, is a tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. A pleasant form of paresthesia, it has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia and may overlap with frisson.
ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.

    I think the best parts of your videos is just describing what tools do what, and why you do each test and what the purpose for all of it is. I’ve been wearing glasses for 20 years so I’ve been to a lot of eye appointments, but I hardly ask any questions I just do the tests and get my glasses. So the sounds of the tools and then you describing how they work is great!

    i have a question, if someone were to get intravitreal injections, would it not effect the eye & how it works? im sure a needle would do more damage to the eye than what it actually does for you, right?

    another question: what is the purpose of your device measuring my eye? does it have different uses than the retinal camera device at your ophthalmologists office?

    The last time the pressure was measured in my eyes it was like a short burst of air being blown in. Without anaesthetic.

  • @SRPASMR

    @SRPASMR

    Not a lot really. It may go up with exercise and caffeine consumption, but tends to be a short term increase. Otherwise there are other factors you can’t control. Age, family history etc Apparently cannabis can lower the pressure though 🤷🏽‍♂️
