SRP is the best ASMR channel because he doesn’t make unnecessary asmr mouth sounds, crinkles, whispers, taps, etc. that really makes many asmr videos often feel overdone.

Completely agree! It's the natural pacing of speech and movement that really makes SRP the tops. I can almost never get into those other produced ASMR videos because they speak so slooooow and spend so much time on slowly tapping, clicking, and smacking. Thank you Dr. SRP!

I remember catching him early on and was like, "there's something else going on here." The voice, his breathy cadence, his unique mannerisms. I can't speak for either of them, but I'd guess not. SRP is almost certainly from the Birmingham area - his accent is typical of that part of the country. Emma has a slightly more mixed accent with some more Northern features and maybe some South Eastern influence. I'd wait to see if either of them responds to confirm, but there's a linguist's perspective!

@@SRPASMR me too! Well, not horoscopes, I think that's all nonsense. But I make connections all the time between people's mannerisms/traits/appearance/cadence/sentence structure/language that generally align with their zodiac sign. And there seem to me to be two kinds for each sign, which makes 24 different groupings. If this sounds nuts, should probably note that much of this is to do with my autism; it's a way of 'collating' people into understandable classifications (because I have trouble understanding people's intentions and styles, etc) to make sense of my world. Having said that, I also notice I have a high sensitivity to picking out these things. Doesn't happen with everyone, but often I'll be watching a film or even reading a book and know what their sign is. Again, probably sounds nuts, but it's me noticing patterns and making sense of things around me. 🤓😬
