SRP really is some of the best. The videos are done well and it is very clear that he knows everything he is talking about which adds a whole additional layer of confidence to this. The two or three things I think people would LOVE to see in the future are: 1) Another refraction day where the camera is intentionally set with locked settings and the wrong focus for the target and he goes through the process to find the 'correct' prescription to correct 'our' vision so the target is clear. There are a few videos like this already on his channel but they are so fantastic I think another would be awesome. I am often someone who listens to these but EVERY one of those I find myself watching intently. 2) Videos similar to this where we are being shown how things like this work and what the technician is looking for when they are doing these tests. For example - what is a meyer? What does that look like? Why is the dye so important? In other cases - What are we looking for with the slit lamp/other tests. It might be difficult to figure out a camera jig or a good way to film such things but I do think a lot of people would enjoy it. The method of demonstration seen here and explanation is fantastic. If SRP himself reads this: Keep up the awesome work. All of your content is relaxing, informative, and worth not only a view but a few replays as well. When I really need to relax some of these videos are on my playlist every time and your quality of content and dedication to making it is among the best.

It has to be one of the most foreign feelings after you get the anesthetic drops in the eye and have a slit lamp test done on you with the tonometer touching your eye to get a measurement of how much mercury is in there. It’s so weird, the human anatomy and all of the different chemicals and functions that can be found in it, but the tests done by you are relaxing as always!

What about doing some videos explaining the terminology you use? For example I had to look up "applanation" and "tonometry" from tono which means pressure and metry which means measuring. You use a lot of great sounding technical words and it would be very interesting to get a rundown of their meanings and etymology in a simple way. That would make great ASMR and coupled with your demonstrations, a great learning experience! Thanks!

Tonometry : here it was 18ml of mercury, but your Nan measured 11ml. That seems to be quite a range for the human eye. What’s ‘normal’? Does it vary by age? LOVE your content so much!

The ‘normal’ range is broad but you can still get a certain type of glaucoma with pressure that falls into that band. That’s why fields, oct and optic nerve assessment is important
