It’s very humbling to listen to smart people speak to the very nature of our existence. I so appreciate your internal struggles with attempting to make sense of all that confronts us. These are simply terrific videos. I suspect that what will happen to the us, human race was... inevitable. Think bigger. Start with consciousness.

Better question is "who am I?" The source of our thoughts is pure consciousness. Once we settle into that source, we are all set. No more questions to explore outside of our Self. Self manifests as everything.

I think one key thing missing from all these episodes is to keep in mind that when you ask a question, you also have to define what kind of answer you're willing to accept. What if the meaning of life, the universe, and all that is actually "42"? We wouldn't be satisfied with such an answer, but it might be the actual final truth.

WHY ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY: Gravity/acceleration involves balanced inertia/inertial resistance, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy is gravity. This is consistent WITH F=ma AND E=mc2, as gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. So, inertia/inertial resistance is proportional to (or balanced with/as) gravitational force/energy; as this balances AND unifies ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy AND gravity; as this balances gravity AND inertia. In other words, GRAVITATIONAL force/energy is proportional to (or balanced with/as) inertia/inertial resistance; as ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy IS gravity. Accordingly, gravity/acceleration involves balanced inertia/inertial resistance; as gravity IS ELECTROMAGNETISM/energy. It is proven. Energy has/involves gravity, AND energy has/involves inertia/inertial resistance. "Mass"/energy involves balanced inertia/inertial resistance consistent with/as what is balanced ELECTROMAGNETIC/GRAVITATIONAL force/energy, as ELECTROMAGNETISM/ENERGY IS GRAVITY. By Frank DiMeglio

This is such a wonderful series and I am so gratfeful for it...I wen to university to understand one thing..what is "science"....this episode touched on the question of the necessity of replication. I watch videos on quantum mechanics, math (Roger Penrose is a favorite) and other areas of science...but, then I watch and read such teachers of Neville Goddard, Joseph Murphy, Louise Hay, Carl Jung, Alan Watts and many other "new thoughters"....how does the concept "thought are things" and the power of imagination fit into your quest...Theologians, who you have on tend to lean toward "religion" rather than a study of a power beyond math...beyond time and space. I would like to see those thinkers included more in your interviews...In the meantime, thank you so much for your work and your producers for the excellent production!

While I certainly disagree with some points / perspectives here, I really enjoyed this episode. Though I am sometimes critical of Mr. Krauss, I also think that computers will someday achieve consciousness, because i'm a subscriber to the "the mind is what the brain does" perspective. I do find it more than a bit odd that Mr. Leslie, who is introduced as a thinker whose canvas of thought is larger than science, seems to limit himself to the just-one-universe-and-god-did-it perspective, itself a _smaller_ canvas than currently contemplated science. I also think the assertion that there are questions about cosmology which science cannot answer gives short shrift to science, because our understanding and resultant science continually improve. Theology doesn't interest me much, but I can appreciate some of his other perspectives, though, especially the validity of pursuing questions which go beyond what our current science can tell us, and how they can contribute to a more meaningful life. Regarding Mr. Tegmark's and Mr.Davies' thoughts, I admit that they are the ones which fascinate me the most, easily. The idea that reality bubbles up from math is just _so_ interesting to consider, though I have to entertain the premise that it might just be a very bright & shiny object that has captivated my individual, and quite limited, mind, so I can also appreciate the simulation-hypothesis and others related to Mr. Davies perspectives. Regarding the answers to these questions, i'm not getting any closer, either (though I definitely have my preferred avenues). They sure are _quite_ enjoyable to ponder, though :-)

I love your introduction finishing with : "... I don't care, I do it anyway !". I have the same need as yours, this quest of finding the truth... it's a spiritual quest, that personally brings me to various dimensions of knowledge as different as : cosmology, quantum mechanics, philosophy, buddhism and ultimately panpsychism. I consider to still be also Christian BUT my personal faith is totally cleaned from dogmas and 90% of what has been told by the catholic church. I believe in a loving conscious universe, a living ONE "organic" Reality animated "WITHIN" by Love, Love everywhere and in everything, like the midiclorians in Star Wars animate The Force... If I have to choose between idealism and materialism, I would choose materidealism. To me, there is only one nature of Reality, not 2. Duality is a limitation of the human mind, nothing else. DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR QUEST ! Be the Force with you ! And thank you for what you share with humanity...

Are such feats the pinnacle of humanity, the very best that we can hope to achieve? Or can we imagine even more astonishing futures? Is it possible that the superpowers described in ancient legends, science fiction, and comic books are patiently waiting for us behind the scenes, poised for an evolutionary twitch to pull the trigger?" ~Dean Radin, Supernormal

For me the whole concept of life is based on the immortality of what I call "true life" of which our universe and beyond is full of. Everything I can think of indicates that existence. The universe as we can perceive, is just a part of a gigantic area, with much more objects and interferences that we can imagine, in a flow to somewhere. In all these great rush of a mudslide we might be lucky not to be on the front line, to be rolled over. The events happening have their own influencing engines accordingly the flow, creating electromagnetic fields, gravitation, frictions. The extent of all existence including our universe in our imagination, could only be possible with some kind of experience made by "true life" and transformed as a conscious sign that has been misunderstood for hundreds of years. Since we took ourselves as prime beings, we never thought we could be led by something else, although we are, through our external influenced informations. Although there is an infinite number, we are tackling the first hundred.

Thank you for this addition to the series. This video is an intellectual tour de force exploring, at bird’s eye view, a range of “ultimate” topics. I think Leslie and Davies are on the right track. There always had to be “something” - some ultimate thing or state. It’s more likely than not, in my view, that all this “sound and fury” has a meaning or purpose. So what makes life worth living? My take: The Good. Love, mercy, victory, beauty, triumph and more. Expanding on Leslie’s “the need for good” causing the universe, my view is this. The universe “creates” the Good, thus justifying its own existence and providing its purpose.

There's no truth. What you feel as a truth is everything but the truth. It's a egoic construction of what the truth is but the ego itself is not true. It's a manufactured product. There's perhaps a possibility of a truth out there, if we believe that we live with a veil but that is a spirituality matter and spirituality is unfathomable. Spirituality is not a truth. It's years of ramming into our minds what could be true and everything derives from the Bible and is the Bible something we can refer to as a truth? Perhaps It's just a myth of spirituality. The word truth is a peremptory word. It means "that is. Period". But during our journeys as humans it can't be "period". Our goal is to struggle a lot with the absurdity of the existence in itself because to be honest living this life is senseless. We try to build something in our lives that can be wiped out overnight. It's to me the only truth.

Ah, old definitions of the Absolute ground of Being. Meanwhile, here is a quote from an article in “Nautilus” on March 12, 2020 by main stream physicists Sabine Hossenfelder and Tim Palmer: “We think it’s about time to revisit a long-forgotten solution [to the measurement problem], Superdeterminism, the idea that no two places in the universe are truly independent of each other.” Consciousness is pervasive in the energies of Being--in this radical connectedness described by superdeterminism, which, granted, is still a theory. In one's silence we participate in this connectedness. Tribal wisdom traditions even experiened this. So, rather than being quaint, they were ahead of the curve.

The most common elements are ESSENTIAL for life, some twenty of them and and equal amount of elements are beneficial. That is how the universe is. It is programmable and programmed inside of you allowing for your existence. It is the result of infinite wisdom, infinite understanding and infinite power.

7 metaphysical questions. 1) How do we remove the heavy lead called ignorance (greed) from the springboard of truth (love)...so that the springboard rebounds to happiness and launches US to heaven (joy, beauty and harmony)? 2) How do we release the string of lies being pulled by ignorance (greed) ...so that the bow of truth returns to happiness and propels US to heaven (joy, beauty and harmony)? 3) How do we remove the current cornerstone called ignorance (greed) from life and replace it with the cornerstone of truth (love)? 4) How do we knock down the wall of lies saying that "life is business" (greed)...so that the truth that "life is art" (creating joy) floods the earth and washes away it's ignorance (hate)? 5) How do we fill a giant a**hole in space called ignorance (greed) with light (love)...so that it's darkness (misery, murder, mass shootings, suicides, war, etc.) goes away and it's heavy gravitational pull stops sucking the joy out of life? And stops life from stinking? 6) How do we make the hostile alien vampires (greed) who are blind...see the ignorance of transforming heaven (peace) into hell (war). 7) How do we make the evangelical counting corpses who are blind...see the ignorance of transforming this paradise planet lifeboat into a polluted pig pen?

I don't like that expression "Reality is a brute fact". Just because we can't explain something doesn't mean it has no meaning. The bottom line is that these are just concepts limited by our language and the capacity of our minds. I agree with the last speaker - everything needs to be explained as a whole. Science is great for building planes that fly but is useless in giving any meaningful explanation to the reality. Only through personal experience (which is the antithesis of scientific approach) can you get... Closer... To Truth.

The answers are already present in the deep philosophy of Vedanta and UPANISHADIC truths of the Ancient Indian Sages... The points of view presented by Robert in these series of videos are ALL partial , reflecting one aspect or the other of Vedantic Wisdom... The point where Robert and the people he interviews get it wrong, is he talks to the "WRONG PEOPLE" and "WRONG RELIGION (a 2000 year old religion trying to explain 14 billion year old Universe)" and makes conclusions that are at best partial... So, the 3 Ms presented here are all aspects of ONE ENTITY, the PARABRAHMAN, who is present All over the UNIVERSE, as BOTH TRANSCENDENT and IMMANENT reality.. And then it does not stop, once the Universe ends, as in, it dissipates back into that ParaBrahman, because the PULSE that made all abstractions/projections from Strings/ Quarks to Universe/MultiVerse possible is arrested by that very ParaBrahman. Why would that entity create it in first place? The guess here is KARMA, which drives that PULSE; WHAT drives KARMA? Well it's been going on forever...and there's ALWAYS enough KARMIC AGENTS with the residual karmic foot print to drive that original pulse... But then how can one say, PARABRAHMAN is free of Karmic effects and hence TRANSCENDENT ? The answer lies in three sub entities - VEDA (KNOWELDGE - God is not the author of these but only "breathes in and breathes out all of them into existence"), NATURE (a progenitor of Mass/Energy, Space/Time) and the Para Brahaman or GOD as PURE BLISS of into which the other two merge at the end of the UNIVERSAL drama.

There is no way to ask that questions. The best you can think is to disconnect from the space time and consciousness. Our mind is designed to process and interact with matter from the same origin.

The Ultimate Question - Lord Kelvin was at least 120 years too early to announce "the End of Physics" Before 1900, there were only very few unsolved puzzles, two of them were: particle-wave duality from Thomas Young and the ultraviolet catastrophe. Then Lord Kelvin formerly announced “the end of physics”. But after 1900, these unsolved puzzles increased almost 10 folds: some examples are quantum mechanics and its interpretations, what is behind Hilbert space, quantum gravity, supersymmetry, extra dimensions, branes, parallel universes, hologram, holographic principle, simulated hypothesis, anthropic principle, cosmological constant catastrophe, dark energy, dark matter, nature of spacetime - fundamental or emergent, nature of causation, freewill, and roles of consciousness. The real ultimate question that truly pushes the boundary would be: "will all these unsolved puzzles be unified into one?" The anwer is YES and this time round is truly "the end of physics" as all these unsolved puzzles will be unified into the Law of Consciosness - not law of physics. Consciousness is most fundamental and we are all living in a "simulation" through all accessing the same hologram where we each is a universe of multiverse of infinite universes. In this, the law of physics is only self simulated, just like in a game, where each of us generate our gravitons and photons and creating our images for experiences. Quantum mechanics is about co-creation of infinitely many beings and each particle is co-creation of these infinitely many beings. This will see the unification of "physics" into consciousness in string theory. This is the Ultimate Question and Answer.

A chef has a science, so does an actor, plumber, lawyer, farmer. They all ask questions seeking answers. The ultimate question is this: what makes the questions of physics or chemistry or biology applicable to these other questions? Are they fundamentally compatible or is the gap between their perspectives an organizational reality that must be taken into account? In other words is there a principle of organization common to all perspectives, or is there a principle of organization that sorts al perspectives according to its rules: makes each perspective necessarily separate? Can everything in linguistic understanding be reduced to math and vice versa? Or are their perspectives the result of something else, something, as yet, unintelligible?

Matter of fact, can we do “science” without math? If no, then it’s a circular argument from the scientists, right? They’re effectively saying, “I believe math can explain the universe, but will only accept mathematical/scientific evidence to determine that.”

Math is the natural science of quantity and, i think the harmony might come from how few things there were before there was a multitude of things and the multitude had to grow out of only the first few and the laws of quantity. ... ? The first few would have to be eternally coherent because with no mass there would be no time. So; first eternal coherent mind (truth?) then matter defined... constrained by math. ?

Once you've accepted that nothing is bedrock.. its a relatively simple project to mentally construct a reality in concept.. of course we were just experiencing the bedrock in our own psyches.. not creating a new universe. The goal is to understand the flow of the dimensions and the interaction of dark matter and dark energy which sustains the quantum mechanical interaction which yields the effect of general relativity. :) The universe collectively realized its own evolution.. from the big bang to today.. evolving and fine tuning the laws of physics as it evolves through time which produces the most novelty and enjoyment.. The answer is 0.. but love is the shield which is simpler than math itself. Love is the binding energy which brings dark matter and dark energy together which makes matter and spacetime.
