Intellectual speculation can be very interesting. But when you are ready to go beyond mere speculation, look me up. Case in point: The Ultimate Reality is THIS: "God" is the Mind that is ALL, and we are THOUGHT within that Mind, given the ability to think WITH that Mind. I’ve always considered this a possibility, but I’d kind of rather not be (a minuscule part of) the only mind in existence. Seems like a terrifyingly lonely, solipsistic nightmare. But what do I know? Maybe it’s awesome when “each of us” returns to the Supreme Mind-presumably after we die... 🤷🏻‍♂️

The World Teacher - Jagadguru Svāmī Vegānanda I really don’t think that what you’re saying is crazy, but I tend to think mathematics is its own fundamental thing. And, together with the equally fundamental consciousness, gives rise to matter which is both qualitative (consciousness) and quantitative (mathematics) Consciousness is probably fundamental, but I think mathematical matter/energy taps into consciousness and allows for _observers_. And observers make qualitative sense of purely quantitative matter/energy. No, I have no evidence for this other than reflecting deeply on the nature of my own subjective, first person experience. But, hey! This is fun! Any thoughts?

10thdim Great quotation! 👍👍👍 Lots of people believe in “Einstein’s God”, as the rather distant intellect behind the Laws of Nature. However, I much prefer Schrödinger’s God - the one “Universal Mind” which reconnects us to all sentient life. This is much more compatible with Eastern religions and IMO books like the Bible only make sense from that perspective... Why else would God name himself “I AM” in Exodus 3:14 “Say this to the people of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.” or Jesus “I AM the vine and you are the branches” (John 5:15) or “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58) etc. I just wish he’d been vegetarian and universalised the “I AM” to include all sentient creatures!

@@vhawk1951kl if you have a frightening dream when you are sleeping, that is so “realistic” that you perspire and toss and turn, and then quickly sit up in bed in a fright, only to realize after a few seconds as you regain consciousness, that it was all just a bad dream, and not “real”, but it seemed real enough to scare you into waking up - well that is what this life is. A dream. Or a dream inside a dream. But a better analogy would be to call it a movie. A really good 3-D hologram that is experienced from inside the human suit we put on to experience it, and the human brain is just a very complex biological computer that can receive sensory data from the hologram and send it to the brain for the mind to compute and imagine it and experience it all, through consciousness. The same way you appreciate a movie or a good ride at Disneyland. But we are here only for the experiences. And that is what we take with us when we leave or exit the ride we are on and in, just like if we saw a movie about a guy who found a hoard of gold and he is elated - the people watching the movie don’t take any of the golf when they leave the theater, but they do take with them the experience and enjoyment of the movie. And when you are sitting inside a dark theater watching a really great movie you aren’t sitting there thinking about yourself because you know who you are, you are concentrating on the movie and the characters and the plot and special effects and you buy into it for the excitement and thrill of it all, even though in the back of your mind, you agree with yourself to not believe for the hour and a half while you are enjoying the movie to forgot that the whole thing is just a movie made in Hollywood and that all the soldiers you saw die in a scene, in reality just get up and walk away for a costume change and some food or drink at the catering truck while the crew get ready to film the next scene. You, are Truman, from the movie of the same name. So am I. So are all of us. When your finger touches something, it’s not your finger that experiences the sensation of touch, but rather the sensory data your finger gathered and sent to your brain for your mind to interpret and your consciousness to experience. Time is the fourth dimension which works like a projector that can combine pictures at a certain speed and movement to make the pictures come to life, so to speak - in much the same a film of still pictures are moved through a camera at just the right speed to make a movie seem like it is really happening and that is why the speed of light is a constant because if it wasn’t, then the movie would inconsistent and annoying and not very entertaining. Perhaps you remember seeing an old Japanese movie that had English words dubbed in but the words don’t sync up with the movements of the mouths of the characters. And just like computers we use need electricity and time out from use for upgrades, uploads and downloads and cooling down to avoid burning out the circuitry as well as repairs from time to time to change a circuit board or some other part, our human biological computers and peripherals need the same care, which is what we call sleep. And that’s also why we have to eat and drink. But in the higher dimension where we “really” are and exist, they probably call it intermission or maybe recess, as this seems to be a lesson of sorts in addition to a great experience and adventure. And perhaps the best and greatest lesson we learn, the one that scientists and physicists can’t seem to find or explain or put into a mathematical equation is LOVE. To understand their frustration, try to write with clarity what the smell of a freshly squeezed lemon smells like so that the words are exactly comparative to the actual experience. Or any experience really. It can’t be done. Hearing about Disneyland will never be the same as going there to experience it all. And that is why we are here. To get the experience and feelings and enjoyment and memories. And just the self replicating feature of this movie is worth the price of admission but there is so much more. Think of learning to ride a bike, or your first kiss or fart or laugh or the taste of ice cream or pizza or of your first born child you got to hold in your arms. Inside this dimension of time the movies don’t last forever but thankfully neither does school. You will eventually graduate and get a chance to improve upon the experience of being a parent from the one you got from your parents but the love part will always be the same. You too will do your best, just as they did and you will make some mistakes, just as they did. But the love will still be the same. And in the higher dimension we come from, where time is not a constraint, we live on forever, eternally, where thank God, the love is still the same but it is eternal.

Doctors and scientists can find and examine your brain but they haven’t got a clue where consciousness is or how to explain it, or how it works. But your brain is a biological computer that your consciousness connects to in order to experience this world and take from it feelings and thoughts. Just like a set of 3-D glasses you use at a theater to make the movie more realistic and fun. But your brain is a lot more complicated than a pair of 3-D glasses and it enables you to experience this movie of life that we are experiencing, but it is just a hologram, albeit a very good one and a very complex one. Your personal consciousness will always exist but the human body is tossed after the movie just like 3-D glasses are tossed after the movie. You, the real you, lives on eternally. Science can’t tell you or any of us who made the moon and perhaps they never will but your heart knows who made it and if you seek the answer, you will find it. The last and dying words of Steve Jobs was, “…oh wow, … Oh Wow, … OH WOW!!” We, the combined parts of consciousness, just like our single human body that is made up of trillions of living cells that work together as one, live for eternity. This life on earth is just an illusion - a very good movie.

Fractals are present everywhere, the self similar features which we see in fluid dynamics and chemical geometric boundaries being broken by dissipate forces. The formation of sand dunes, Turing patterns. Veins, branch systems and our mind. These reiteratings and almost toroidal feedback loops of information and physical forces driving patterns in soap bubbles and thermal dynamics. So in one, do we find a reflection of the whole in a way. I suppose I wonder if we are just a branch on some incomprehensible perhaps infinite or not tree of what (who knows). But indeed we are riding the waves if a cosmic super galactic cluster thread and that of larger threads. A swirling soup, crystallizing and condensing into lattices and forms endless.

There is a logical problem with infinite reducibility!! I think the problem lies in not really grasping what infinity is?? Infinite means without end or beginning!! And if reality has no bottom?? Then it has no ontological ground!! And that makes all reality non-existent!! Conditioned reality is a reality that owes its existence to some other conditions!! A knit sweater owes its existence to the person who knit it!! And ultimately to the thread used to knit it!! The thread in turn owes its existence to the molecules and atoms that comprise it!! So on and so forth until you get to the bottom rung on the ladder of being and causation, which cannot be a conditioned reality!! It cannot be a conditioned reality because that would lead to an infinite regress and that would negate the existence of the entire chain!! We need an unconditioned reality at the bottom!! That is a reality that does not owe its existence to anything other than itself!! A self-subsistent being!!

  • @Ndo01

    @Ndo01

    4 жыл бұрын

There would be no "bottom rung" to an infinitely reducible reality. Ideas like 'causality' and 'beginning' are relative concepts that exist only within the perspective dimension of time. As beings embedded in time it is hard to conceptualize, but outside time there would be no beginning nor end, only the eternal now. This infinite reducibility can exist within this eternal now either linearly or cyclically like an ouroboros. The structure of the self-subsisting being could themselves be an infinite regress in this realm, being created and whole simultaneously.

Ultimate reality consists of both the physical and the metaphysical. There are numerous examples, in science, the concept of space and time is the most obvious, and fundamental. (What is time/what is space.) And of course as was alluded to in your opening, idealism is logically necessary to understand everything, including reality itself. And so the physical needs the metaphysical and vice versa to understand reality.

Ok when we think about consciousness mostly we speculating about brains and complex life forms who have them. But in science we can't agree or every life form at least on earth have a consciousness, so bacteria, viruses and cells in the term of life are non concious so the question why? They are moving and acting like they at least hawe something similar like a brains they made desitions and do tasks so why we cant acept them like a consious , so if we acept them like a primitive concious parts then we could at least think abouth information = energy= consiousnes . But only isue is only complex life structures can become individuals only when they get more tools, organs to understand more then simple tasks and a bit space they are in. So we nead somehow understand how human who born without moste of his sences understands the space and time how his brain activity is adapting without understanding anything around and are we could call that concious life or not ? + Plants they are life form we are agre but are they hawe conscious ? so if we accept that then everything changes

everyone knows and hears all particles are waves, so what we need to do is finde all particles we can find and measure them like waves, and matematicly finde out what could by the smalest particle or wave and that particle would by primal particle (wave) in the universe. So Space, time, mass and energy are fundamental ones but who is the energy ? I fink energy is the information couse without information in the first place we do not get any furter constructions beside energy ifself. SO wave are particle and the smalest particle are pure primal energy = information. Now we hawe working model of science, primal wave of energy (information) ineracts with each other then waves colide and forms stronger and stronger waves in the proces forms new stronger waves until we get first well known particles in quantum phisics , then thous particles forms first chemical elements and thous forms all chemical elements we know today. So ewrything we know is Energy(information) space time and mass but now we hawe other question consciousness ? it is made in the proces or it is fundamental to ? if it is fundamental then information itself like energy are consciousnes . So why the Bit- single particle if it conscousnes forms complex particles and all the chemical structures and life ? I fink if the information energy and consciousness are primal fundamental ones thous interact with each other and the proces is natural to try create something, so the meaning is only material structures like life can collect information much faster and in more complex ways then in the primal energy state. So the meaning of our existent is learning and creating, learning and creating, learning and creating.

This channel is very interesting , discussing all " come to the point " of the issues .😋 Even me the only one can get access to the furthest place of the starting ponit of this universe I still wonder what is the ultimate reality ? Hear so strange to ear , even God doesn't know the ultimate reality , but I am always straight and honest to say what I know. I think if I am in my full spirit form I know much more than when I am in flesh body ( earthly form ) like this .Because when I am in human body most of my heavenly falcuty has been declined so as to adapt with life on the earth. So , what is the metaphysical aspest of me ? That is whenever I form my hands with fingers and palm into a particular gesture it will physically and metaphysically create a certain effect on the globe , even tơ the whole Solar system and the universe ! I have to perform a special type of spiritual practice daily and I have been practicing for. two decades , because this is the time of a great universal transition : the universe ends a great cycle of time and enter into another great cycle of time which lasts billions of earthly years . why is it hard to figure out how is , what is ultimate reality ? Because everthing including the universe itself is in the law of samsara and the law of evolution all. Nothing comes from nowhere , right ? This universe must have had a foundation from which it emerged out . The furthest point my conciousness can approach is the first moment of birth of this universe , I saw a thing called Taiji ( Tai Chi ) in Oriental ancient philosophical knowledge. That can be called the " singularity " in term of science. When I saw the scene of it to appear in my spiritual vision this singularity was floating in the middle of space , this suggests 3 ideas : space existed before , this universe had another bigger universe to contain it inside , this was rather a rebirth of it than the first birth of it. Almighty has his ( her) own parents ! But it is actually Almight to be the supreme master of this universe , everthing in it is connected directly to Him ( or Her )

For that first you need have the question what is outside the bucket, so you will try jumping harder and harder. Or you can stay in the bucket and die happily thinking you know it all because there are other frogs in the bucket who agrees with you. There is nothing wrong in staying in the bucket without hurting others, but the frog will never know it can live without water or the reality outside the bucket :)

We are *instances* of the Universal. Each person is such an instance, but most fundamentally, each choice is. (That fractal holographic thing again.) Ultimate Mind projects matter in a fractal/chaotic/holographic distribution that grows ever more complex as it propagates, ending up as quantum bits that flicker in and out of existence...and also do a certain amount of mutual annihilation as they go through each emergent phase change. The universe we perceive is the set of bits that are left over after a series of mutual annihilations, a tapestry of 1s and 0s. PROCESS is the only reality--the Universal Mind is thinking! Cogitating! Computing! And our each and every choice--a choice to hark back to Source to revitalize ourselves, or to get our self-identification further entangled in our arbitrary projections, is a full-throttle, no-holds-barred, expression of the Whole. YOU are truly All That! The Upanishads said so 2000+ years ago, but finally--mainly with information theory and system dynamics--we can map a You-Are-Here orientation to your exquisitely addressable (that's a computer thing) moment.

Reality is an energetic continuum, the poles of which are eternity and infinity, for only eternity can fully embrace infinity. Awareness functions consciously and unconsciously simultaneously. A felt explanation of ultimate reality is the optimum way connections of neurons in our heads can map onto our external world. A spoken explanation is a directional attempt to let others build with the same concept blocks (smallest neuronal patterns that can be consciously identified and communicated) for our way of thinking. The understood explanation by everyone I think is impossible to achieve fully. I would look to Yujin's irreducibility of concepts. It seems quite natural that the way we divide the universe in our heads, will not reach a fundamentalness consensus across all of our different minds. Precluding consensus limits collaborative work, so there is room for dismissing that explanation in a context, but it should come back as better tolerance and framing for disagreement.

@@jykox Consciousness is made of self-propagating patterns, so in that way, we can call a lot in the world proto-consciousness. However, there are many self-propagating patterns in the world, and they are far removed from human consciousness. We have an overabundance of choice, by which to explain ourselves, which to me doesn't narrow down consciousness understanding. (That taking of patterns in how understanding already works) A human without any senses but a notion of space and time would be human conscious. If we can explain that experience fully, a lot can be derived. We can use words for whatever definition we like, but if we make a term encompass too much variation, we will struggle to find satisfactory answers about its nature. I personally am interested in what processes go into making a human aware within any given moment, which I think is a more accessible question, to make progress on.

@@TimeGhost7 Ok now i hawe other question u using word patern and i hawe other word evoliution . U know humans are from primats and primats are from more simplier life speachies so u saying human conciousnes like it is closed speaces but it isint closed so consiousnes exist in many stages in evoliution and that consious self fealing could by came with the first life forms . SO in other words that isint somme patern and we are nothing special then beter equiped life forms on higher level but that isint the last one , so my idea is consiousnes and self fealing evoliution, same like life forms evoliutions and that starts from simplier forms

@@jykox Yes. Human's ability to empathize with animals roughly correlates with the similar patterns we find in our own consciousness to theirs. For the purposes of empathy, I would have a deep moral concern if anyone limited consciousness to humans. We are not a closed species, and I hope I didn't suggest that. I would however say that a single-celled organism is not conscious. Such proposed consciousness is more trial and error processing where death isn't the looming shadow we take it as. I don't feel empathy is needed here, so I don't see us ascribing consciousness as required. I chose to fixate on the term "human consciousness" as an intellectual pursuit because I don't think answerable questions can be formulated about an experience too distant from our own consciousness. In our examination of animal consciousness, we are inevitably suggesting how an animal thinks like a human, or we wouldn't be able to say it. That's fine to do, as a lot can be learned about ourselves by understanding animals, but we should realise we are doing it. When ascribing consciousness to the levels further down such as viruses, I question how relevant the consciousness concept is. I see viruses more clearly as a mechanical system and relating a mechanical system to consciousness, doesn't work well. In between, consciousness can get a murky definition for me. For example, I sometimes like to think of plants as having an odd sort of consciousness and sometimes don't, depending on if I care for them. But in an intellectual discussion about consciousness, I would choose that they don't.

@@TimeGhost7 LOL soryy for my reaction but do not think to good abouth humans like they hawe consiousnes and other life form do not hawe , gosh it is a bit stupid idea, so if u saying viruses are mechanical and programed tools but u must understand if u saying they are some kind of mechanical then we are made from all thous mechanical parts and when u create robot from diferente parts that wont become concious and yours idea is denying consiousnes at all couse in your idea only for humans can hawe it and smarter life forms, but u must understand consiousnes isint for hymans consiousnes are for all life forms no mather what they are. Life = consiousnes . And only now we are the smartest ones on earht but that isint mean we are only ones with conciousnes . Life evolution = consiousnes evoliution.
