Love your videos Scott - I set up an Apple TV connection and planned to mirror from my IPad Pro. When I did this my Mevo + started missing most shots with both E6 and the Flightscope apps. Did not have this issue with the HDMI connection. I contacted Flightscope support and they said it was a known issue with no fix. They couldn’t explain why some had issues and others didn’t. So was resigned to using the HDMI connection. Then bought Awesome Golf and on a whim tried the mirroring and it worked perfectly . Then switched to E6 without totally shutting down first and it worked perfectly as well. So now if I want to use mirroring, I just start Awesome golf before moving on to E6 or the Flightscope apps. Really goofy but 100% reproducible for me every time. One quick plug for Awesome golf which you have featured. Love it. Much less finicky to set up and use, and works wonderfully with the iPad!

Scott - In your opinion - would you recommend going with the IPad setup or a PC setup for someone who is just building out their simulator while patiently waiting for their Mevo+ to be delivered?

@Scott Pettipas, I completely agree with your, @Scot Hogan is awesome. Not only giving great Mevo+ videos, but also how to use it, provide drills to get better, after all isn't that the point of getting this unit and play indoor over the winter. And outdoors during the season too... keep them coming.

Hey Scott, I am using newer iPad 10.5inch IOS 14, tried to get the projector working wireleasly with Mevo + but since the projector uses wifi connection as well as Mevo+ as we know, could not get this working so continued with HDMI cable.

@@scotthogangolf Hey Scott, No, using just iPad and EZmira and screen mirroring. Low cost setup at this point. Once we understand more, PC the way to go.

I love your videos thankyou ! I am using a Garmin R10 with E6 connect and an iPad pro. I want to know if it is suitable with a projector BenQ LH820ST.

I've not used the 820St I have the 600St and love it and BenQ stuff is really good. But ipad should work as long as you get the adapter you need for the HDMI cable. But also just remember with iPad you can't really mess with the screen so it will be a 16x9 aspect ratio. PC you could mess with it but ipad you can't.

Hey Scott, thanks for the video. I will need to purchase an iPad to use with the Mevo Plus. Are the two Pro's you got off of e-bay Generation 1's? Any information or suggestions on which iPad to purchase for use with the Mevo Plus is appreciated. Budget is an issue. Thanks.

Yes they both are, and they work fine with the app. Although I'm starting to get the feeling that apple won't let them hang around for much longer as they continue to update.

What’s the best iPad to use?

HI Scott. I just ordered my Mevo plus. I am looking for an Ipad pro to get. At most I will be using the Ipad strictly for the Mevo Plus. What is the minimum Storage capacity I will need? Not sure if I will need 128GB or if less will work? I will most likely be using the E6 after some time.

128 for sure will work. It's not a super storage intensive process, it's just the processing power of the laptop. My $2000 ipad pro that I use for teaching runs all the software great, but it's way overkill. My original gen ipad pro from ebay run it fine too with a few glitches, but it gets the job done.

Have you managed to screen mirror to Apple TV while connected to the mevo? I wouldn’t have thought that would work if not both connected to the home network?

Mine does it, I have no idea why it works, because I thought it wouldn't either, but it did. With that said, I just hook up my ipad directly now, just easier and more convenient to do it that way I think.

@Scott - I see the same annoying popup on the screen behind you when I play on my ipad. "internet connection lost" Of course if you don't have cellular data, you're playing offline, but is there anyway to turn this annoying blinking notification off?

Okay, I have to be missing something and as a manager in IT, I feel embarrassed to ask but I can't figure it out. How do you screen mirror when you have to connect the iPad to the Mevo+ network? I'm using a Roku with airplay support but it won't connect to a local network without internet. Please help before I go buy a dongle and run cables.

Scott, I purchased a USB-C hub with hdmi and internet ports for my IPAD Pro. I can connect to the internet using Ethernet cable and send picture using hdmi.

@@dubbs1923 Amazon search for usb 6 in 1 hub. For newer IPAD Pro’s need to search for USB_C adapter. I bought one for $30 It will have Ethernet port and hdmi port

Have you had your iPad die while using the ‘lightning to digital AV’ my iPad Pro won’t hold its charge while plugged in. Any suggestions?

I have, but it's usually because I was using a 3rd party charging cord that was dead, or plugged into a USB port that wasn't giving enough power to charge the device.

That would be great. It can run iOS apps and has much better graphics and processor. Maybe they could make the iOS app with two graphics settings. One for older iPads, and one for the more powerful hardware.

Scott, I have been using my IPad Pro Gen 1. E6 was playing well until I upgraded to the newest software that E6 sent out. Now the software will shutdown in the middle of the round. When this happens I have to completely restart the round. Every third or fourth shutdown it will make it through a complete round. E6 support has been zero help with this problem. I even asked them if moving up to the purchased IOS software would help. No real answer for this. Have you seen this?

I did have it shut down on me now that I think about it, I thought nothing of it because it was a one off thing for me, but it was after the update. I"ll try mine out a little more tomorrow

The 5 courses is only for ipad? Can you not play the courses on an iphone?
