    This lady makes no sense literally the example of human stupidity if u want bulbs for next season just let the thousandsof seeds grow you’ll have more than you know to do with also genetic die off will start to happen after the first year🤷🏽‍♂️

    Thanks for your very kind comment here😊. Thanks again for enlightening me that I can let the thousands of seeds grow! Sure, my human stupidity has found out of research that “ EACH ASIATIC LILY SEED TAKES ABOUT 7 YEARS TO BECOME into FLOWER BEARING PLANT 😐. I have successfully multiplied my Asiatic lilies FROM 9 SMALL PLANTS TO HUNDEREDS OR EVEN MORE RIGHT NOW “( at least half of them with a decent to big size flowering capacity). Please have a look at my Asiatic lily series for proof. kzread.info/head/PL9j1cxXyrLT2Tk1wUUWv9n22hIp5afHfp. Have a good day

    I am so sorry about that. I am just cutting the stalk of the flower after the petals have dropped. in Simmer when the flowers are done blooming and the petals have withered off, the bloom stalk which has the seed pod will start to grow in size, so I am just cutting that away to avoid the seed production. I hope that helps.

    Thankyou. the Asiatic lily flowers bloom only once in one season, so when you say your flowers fell off, it means that theyare done for this year. well, it helps your plant a lot if you cut away/ prune the bloom stalks after blooming so the energy can go straight to the bulb, rather than seed production. • @SanaAsGARDEN

    @SanaAsGARDEN

    3 жыл бұрын

    You’re welcome 😊. Leaving the plant to die back naturally is the best thing to do. But if you are able to transplant it without damaging any roots , carefully getting hold of the complete rootball should be ok. Usually after the flowering phase the plant will have developed a really strong root system and a root ball in one clump. So should be easy. Try it and let me know how it goes 👍🏻

    Hi I have a query...here in India after the flowering is over the plant stays green throughout the year and the mother plant or bulb continues to grow new stalks(new bulbs) and they grow very tall and mostly the baby bulbs aren't big enough to flower the coming year. Usually in videos I see people saying that the plant should be cut back after it dies back...but it doesn't die back here because we have almost no winters here in goa. What should I do? I definitely don't want to dig out the bulbs n store them because they will end up dying

Please watch the rest of the videos in this series to get a better understanding. Have explained in detail how to store the bulbs .I hope it helps

    Asiatic lilies like full sun. How long did they bloom before starting to wilt ? Most of the times the bulbs brought from stores in the stores don’t perform the best in first season because they are forced to bloom. They bloom for about 1-2 weeks. This depends on the size of the bulbs If your bulb was really large when planting, the flowers shall last 18-20 days( mine do)

    I am trying to figure out exactly where to cut. I can't really see where you are cutting. A close up would have been good.

    You need to just snip off the flower stalk.
