Ashanti is a hustler and has remained booked and busy for two decades. I admire her energy and spirit.

This is the most I've heard Ashanti speak on her personal life. I've always thought that was dope. She took numerous punches to her character before she spoke up. I believe her when she says she knows enough to bury Irv. Love her! She's a class act! She said I speak when I'm good and ready.

I have mad respect for Ashanti! The way she moves and carries herself in this interview shows her level of maturity and her genuine character.

I didn't realize Ashanti went through so much verbal abuse. Being young and gullible and being manipulated by a narcissist couldn't have been easy to just "walk away" from. I'm so glad she was able to get away from that situation. I also love the delicacy Angie is conducting this interview.

I definitely want more of everything from Ashanti! I've always loved her music and can't get enough of her. She definitely kept it real cute the whole interview and she needs her own documentary.

I'm so glad she is speaking up...and that Angie is giving her the save space to do it

I loved how Ashanti chose her words carefully and stayed classy even though nobody would blame her for cussing and dragging that man. She threw her lil shade which is understandable lol but I really like how she kept her composure about this man who has kept insulting and attacking her in the media for years unprovoked. I don't know if I could keep that calm and graceful in a situation like this.

This phase is her victory lap, 20 years later. I hope she gets the husband and children she wants.
