I've listened to so many versions of this song , so many times, and every time you're "live" versions hits like a brick to the face. This one's joining the rotation

I am beginning to wonder if Asaf has been watching Ren's Money Games Part III. Just as soon as I saw Asaf standing by the wall I was drawn back to Ren's magnificent performance. Yes, Asaf and Ren are quite different but in some subtle way they seem like they are molded from the same matrix. Now that Ren has gone a little quiet to heal his body in Canada Asaf magically appears in my feed. Beautiful.

Even if it's just coincidental they sometimes seem very brotherly to me, their voices' tones, their vibratos, their outfits and their charisma... No wonder Ren loved it so much!

@@bozeebo3959 Yes, but there is a third, lesser known possibility: synchronicity. I had never seen or heard an artist like Ren and when I saw the opening of this video I was taken back momentarily to Money Game. So far I am finding Asaf less open and vulnerable than Ren. A little more guarded emotionally. His wounds seem more emotional and deeply personal than Ren's agonies. I shall have to listen to him much more before I will know for sure.

@@patrickquinlan3056 oh I wouldnt judge the book by its cover. Ren is vulnerable but is sharing a different type of story, of his forsaken health. However Asaf takes us on a journey towards loss and broken heart. That's really vulnerable ❤️

I miss clic on this video and I have the same feeling. Piano intro, singer with suit, skinhead type, handed filming ... Same code. Ren video is more powerful and more touching because the staging and lights are well done and the mouvement of camera are more dynamic. This video of Asaf is great is his style and kind of music. It's a great job too.

Whoever put together the musical arrangement is a genius

When the algorithm fed this to me I had no idea what to expect. I had never seen or heard of you before and boy what a shame that was. I absolutely love the song and your incredibly unique and powerful voice. On top of that the arrangement is just perfect. I have listened to this 20 times in the last two days and only now got my thoughts straight enough to make a comment. After the second viewing I almost wept. Such depth feeling and uniqueness in his vocals.

Never tire of this song. Beautiful version , and it always makes me cry, remembering the love of my life walking away. Never to return. Thank you for a song that brings happiness yet sadness all in a few passing minutes, with the message within this song.

It takes me awhile to peel myself off of one song and latch onto another. Since spring, when I first encountered it in the series "Dark," "The Labyrinth Song" has been on continuous repeat. It's of those exceptionally rare compositions that transport one to a rarefied space fully outside of time, of longing, nostalgia, and regret; and should I remain there long enough, of the desire never to return below. This current performance is incredible. Your jewel of a voice, Asaf, with its thousand scintillating facets, is a glorious orchestra unto itself. (And this snappy wardrobe ain't too bad either.)

This song is AMAZING, and I would never expect it could be evem better Acoustic with Thomas Shelby singing!
