playing cello by plucking strings (pizzicato) is a standard technique used in many pieces. Most violin/viola/cello players actually use when first learning to play. I'm very curious as to why he's holding it like that though. Maybe it projects the sound better? Source: played violin for 5 years

This is the song equivalent of slipping into a luxurious bubble bath. Listening to music like this is a privilege.
