Asaf, for me, is a live performer. The layers, textures, and ambience he can create live is captivating. Seeing him in concert is on my bucket list.

I'm so, so happy that you like his music! Your perspective adds more to my own experience of it, as well. Like the sun behind his face, I've been too occupied with voice and performance to even notice that. 😄 his voice is so expressive, he doesn't need lots of instruments. There are usually many versions of his songs, studio, live in a box-series, live on stage, acoustic versions... He's tried them all, and they are quite different from each other.

I had front-seat tickets to see Asaf in Montreal in February, a Xmas gift from my wonderful husband. Unfortunately, 2 weeks before, my husband had health issues, so we had to cancel. My husband is recovered, and we are looking forward to seeing Asaf as soon as he plays somewhat close by.

With all due respect to Ren and his artistry, Asaf has been performing successfully in the world for many years and with a spectacular collection of albums.. if anyone is influenced by anyone it's surely not Asaf.. he is unique in every aspect❤

Favourite opening line in a song " Release the booze hounds! I like to drink motherf-cker, yeah it's my favourite thing to do!" 🤣 from a very obscure UK band called Centiment. It always makes me laugh and sing along. On a more serious note the opening line from Tesseract's "Beneath my Skin" is lovely "Boundless sight, tightening veins beneath my skin....forming shapes within my dreams. Jaded thought. It rips my throat..."
