the biggest truth in that movie is that what ur leaders and rich ppl tell you they dont follow themself. there is rules for sheep and for the shepard and they are not the same.

Actually it was AFTER KR made it cool....you see Equilibrium (2002) was sorta part ripoff of Matrix (1999)...well more precisely it was part ripoff of The Matrix, part The 1984 movie (or book, it's ur call) and part Sun-Tzu style philosophy...and ignoring what all those naysayers you possibly may have seen around want to criticise on it, Movie was both awesome "Popcorn Flick" and "Nerd Porn" in one as it has depth in story (it's interesting in both history and possibilites, would make a very good franchise on its own to that end), wonderful characters to which viewer immediately develops emotional attachment despite being based in seemingly emotionless world (hate bad faceless guys in motorcycle helmets, love bad guy turning good, feeling sorry for the rebels), good development of characters (you ALWAYS understand why they do, what they do...there are no gaps in storytelling and timing is excellent) and fight scenes, which even by today standards are pure orgy, especially on cinema format (I know it can be hard to define with what one can see nowadays, but this has been made over 20 years ago, when there weren't any real contemporaries like this except The Matrix you named) Ok there goes my plain add to your reaction, my apologies if I was talking overcomplicated crap...sometimes I can't help it

"Aesthetic" is an adjective that requires further modifiers to have meaning. Your sentence has the same nuance as, "It was highly." I have no problem with the movie or its direction or anything else. If they remade it with the same script, same people and everything, I would probably love it as long as BS gun crap wasn't the centerpiece. That ruins the whole thing for me. You might as well have him beating down his attackers with a giant dildo. Same effect.

Agreed, excellent Christian Bale movie. One of his most expressive and emotional roles. One of the few DVDs I still own in this age of streaming.

he actually reloads twice in that hallway scene in the movie. He slides two mags into the room before he enters and he kneels down and reloads with them halfway through, and then again with those arm things.

he does not reload ammo, he has battery packs for bullet teleporters that he has to change every couple days.

WELL....that was awesome.

I never noticed at 4:56 he used the enemies attack to turn his scabbard into another weapon. Awesome movie and excellent editing and track.

epic movie, epic editing,impossible to ignore how great this little video in gigantic platform is underrated.

He reloads those guns like twice in that entire scene, how many fucking bullets? Not enough, that's how many, fucking love this movie.

At first i was - This is not Arvo Part- But then i was - This is quite good..-

If Christian Bale played as Red Hood instead of Batman.

Amazing movie that unfortunately got lost in bigger budget films. It was groundbreaking. That fight scene at the end was brilliant. Angus MacFayden is such a good actor but he also is often ignored.
