thats the idea man. the whole movie there is a resistance trying to bring emotion back to the world. if you read books like fahrenheit 451 or the giver, it's a fairly common theme that something that is part of humanity will be taken and the rengades come in and try to change it all

the reason why John Preston is better than Neo is because Christian Bale was born a bad ass and he is a great method actor and has an uncanny ear for accents while Keanu Reeves is good he doesn't have the potential that Christian has and that's why Christian won an oscar for his supporting role in the Fighter because of his total BAD ASSNESS and METHOD ACTING!!! GO CHRISTIAN BALE!!!

It's not that it needs one, and it's not that it's not great as it is. I however, would be overjoyed at the prospect of a remake or reboot or series or even a spin-off just for the fact that I loved the original. All this is coupled with the fact that if anyone made any of those things, the movie itself might actually attain a greater fanbase, more recognition, more attention, more merchandise, (Come on, who wouldn't want one of those outfits?) and just overall become greater than its status as a cult hit. In short, I'd just count myself lucky to have another "Equilibrium" outlet.

awesome music video, made me go watch the movie. sad to say, your music video was better than the actual movie. I found the ending of the movie rather dissapointing. I love the allusion to 1984 though.
