This is by far the best teacher of- how- to- do- things on the internet! I've watched hundreds of videos and probably 30 just today (on resin applications) and this video is the best of them all. The teacher is very informative, easily paced and has a very pleasant tone to her voice. Thank you for the excellent video- I hope I find more :)

Thank you! I'm going to try this. I'm a collage artist and my papers kept going transparent. Mod podge didn't help me at all. I'm going to get the GAC 500 and see if it works.

You could use a lavalier mic or a boom mic. They are simpler than they sound.

Thank you for this wonderful tutorial on sealing and coating our art pieces in ArtResin! I just bought this product and wanted to give it a try and I had so many questions to ask, it's wonderful that you answered them all in this video! YAY! This is so exciting for me to be thinking about laying resin over my art pieces! Cheers from the Ottawa area. BTW I love buying products from your company and having them shipped to me, always fun! Stay safe!

This a wonderful video, thank-you so much for sharing especially explaining as to how much resin is needed for your project, nothing worse than getting half way through pouring and realising you don’t have enough! Can I ask which technique you used for the gorgeous turquoise square (next to the bird picture) the colour is so vibrant and it just looks fantastic. You have given me so many ideas I can’t wait to get started on a piece like this 🙏😊🌸

Very informative Thanks!! I have been using art resin for a few months. It is much better resin than what you can get at the home stores (for art). I just wanted to let you on a little secret of mine. I also pour on plastic. But I use a thicker piece that is completely smooth. I purchased it at Home Depot.

Look for it in the drop cloth painting section. I think it was like somewhere around 7 - 12 ml. thick. When peeling it off not only will it be easier to peel it also will be more clear. When I used a piece of plastic that was textured , it was more frosted

So are you saying that you can varnish gouache and watercolors with GAC 500? And no wax? I’m asking about pieces I don’t want to resin.

Art resin is very expensive. There, are other resin products that are just as good out there. Right resin for right project.

Ive been pulling my hair out using this stuff. Im using it on printed paper on wood and I get bleed thru. Im coating it with 2coats of mod podge and 3 coats of Matte Varnish and still get bleed thru.

Hi. Does this give the same effect as Mod Podge?

  • @ThePaintSpotEdmonton

Resin is like about 50 layers of varnish all in one step. As you can see on the video is a thick and gloss coating. Modge Podge may work to glue and seal the papers, drawing and papers to your board.
