Easy Inside-out Resin Art on framed glass for a wall light feature/demo
Ok, I teach resin art but I was my own student with this piece. I hope you get some ideas from this video. That's what it's all about; getting ideas and making it better.
I will fit a light fitting inside the frame when I get a chance to shop around for the right one and upload a short video linked ti this one.
Hope you enjoy.

Thank you for sharing this. Love it!
Beautiful beautiful
I can't begin to tell you how overwhelmed I am that I came across this magnificent video. This is THE BEST piece of art work I have seen in awhile and can't wait to give it a try (I'm sure it's not going to be as beautiful as yours) but thank you so much for sharing!!!
Perfect for those windows that look right at your neighbor's house - or any ugly sight! It's the BEST privacy pane ever! I tried Plaid faux glass and it looked great, but SLOWLY sagged from sun's heat! Resin cures MUCH harder so it should hold up forever! Thanx for great video! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😘
Looks like a garden Suzan, beautifulxx

Ok, now I have to go to the thrift store and pick up a few framed pics with glass in them! Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece.
There is not words to say how nice this is. Small beaded lights going around the inside of the frame would give a real cool effect. I will have to try this my self thank you for all that you teach us beginners. Thank You Suzana

Beautiful
Your thumbnail caught my eye and then the name of the video. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed watching you create this piece! What a difference each side has! Nothing like each other at all even though we watched as you created it! I like both sides. I think the front catches my eyes more but hey "the beauty is in the eye of the beholder", right? Thank you for allowing us to watch as you create this piece!
The thing you have to realize is that if you're painting on glass, and you're working on the underside or back side, you have to build your colors Backwards... if you're doing, like she did, adding drops of different color paint right on top of each other. You actually need to start with the smallest dot and build larger dots of other colors on top so when you flip it over you've got your different colors in an order that ALL can be seen. I have a glass coffee table that I want to paint, and doing the underside made the most sense to save wear & tear on the paint, so clearly I've given THIS TOPIC a lot of thought. Purrsonally, I liked the back side better as there was a bit too much white for my taste. But I really liked the effect that dragging the feather through produced~ kind of a marblized effect & I am rather obsessed with That. FUN Project!
Beautiful!!!!
Absolutely stunning! I love the colors too! I know what I want to do with all these picture frames! Thank you for sharing!

I have a ton of frames that I have had for awhile now that I purchased from a yard sale...now I so know what to do with them an can experiment with different colors
Wow. This is gorgeous. Can't wait to see if you post the light behind it. Even hanging in a window would do this justice. Well done as usual.
On my bucket list
I love this! I would love to try the same thing. I don't know which side of the glass is my favorite. That would be my problem right there...I would have to do a double-sided frame so I could flip it if I wanted. Beautiful work. Thanks for showing it off!

AMAZING! Thanks for the brilliant idea Suzana. I have some old picture frames that I can have a play with. Very exciting! 😍
Beautiful. The front side made me think of woodland wild flowers. I think the fairy lights will be nice addition. You could also place it in an existing window and take advantage of the sunlight.
It’s beautiful ❤
Amazing! The translucency is the most brilliant part! 👍🏻❤️
I really love this. I am falling in love with resin art. I just started with Acrylic's
I love this!! It has a stained glass feel to me! It would be beautiful hanging in a window! I hope you do more like this!

Very good idea, I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing myself it’s interesting to see the result, I must say I did prefer the look of the back side, it was more flowing. Your idea of putting fairy lights behind I think would work better than the spot light. Thank you Suzana for posting this very helpful video, you’ve given me plenty of food for thought. 💖

Suzana, I loved this video, so beautiful and creative........you inspired me to get my alcohol inks out and start working with them again. Many Thanks!

V nice work 🌸
Incredible and very beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I'm inspired.
What a great idea. Came out awesome
Very pretty! I have to say I prefer the backside. A little too much white for me on the front but of course both sides are beautiful.

Thank you for the great video. Sorry if I missed it, but what is the paint? Oil paint, colored resin, water color, or other? Thank you.
I have a 26 by 12 space above my bathroom door, presently filled with a piece of plywood. This would be an excellent way to make the space lovely and let more light through.

Fantastic! Thank you for the idea.
Very nice piece! Magnificent coloring and blends. I personally prefer the back side but the front looks great, also. It's lovely enough to have caused me to go price resin and dyes now! I have been discussing halfheartedly, an attempt in this form of art with my ex (we regularly exchange ideas and materials...) and her work with inks and recently, pour painting seems to fall right in line with this. I've been strictly an oil medium only enthusiast but have ventured into pastels and water colors so this seems to be a natural progression. Thank you very much for sharing this. I'm looking forward to seeing it with lighting. Perhaps some form of LED set-up? Anyway, excellent work and thanks again for sharing!!!

I'm going to have to dig out my thesaurus so that I can have more words for fantastic and beautiful. Is there a list of products for this? Thank you from Cindy in Texas.
Love it
Just beautiful I love it ,I will learn this,
How exactly did you prep the glass? What glue did you apply to the edges to prevent the resin from seeping through? How much resin did you place on the glass and what did you mix with the paint? I am so interested in trying this technique. Did you think about using strip lights on the inside of the fame to illuminate it? Thank you do much for teaching this technique.
I love it. I really like the white areas. They look like flowers.

I quite like this. You've given me an idea for using this Vitrail self-adhesive lead strip and some of the ArtResin tints I recently received. The colors of your glass were super vibrant, and I've got lots of old picture frames. My kitchen window could use something bright.
