American Idol didn't want him to win. They never let anyone better than the judges win.He is by far one of the best voices and best talents I have heard in a long time.

Years later I still think Arthur Gunn is one of the best Idol contestants they have ever had. He completely grabs your attention and has such a unique voice with all the vibrato. I think he was robbed of winning and I want a recorded version of Iris, it was incredible!

Imagine being judged by artists you are 10x better than. He’s incredible!!

William don't give up on yourself, from my experience inner peace is definitely possible and well worth the self effort it takes to move toward, we take drugs to get away from feeling like shit but it just fucks us up way more, i could go on but i wont here, if you want look up Kyle Cease. @@virginiaknighten4687 Just Sam was crowned as the winner, with Arthur Gunn finishing as the runner-up. The thing is Arthur Gunn was far ahead of the curve but didn't provide a huge emotional appeal. Skill wise he was far better than Just Sam in every way a genuine star, However Just Sam had more emotional appeal because she was crying or had a sap story before every performance. If you notice in American Idol a reoccurring theme is the people who have the saddest stories win, not usually the best skill / performance wise but the one who can draw more views to the show. Arthur Gunn was so talented in fact almost every one of his American Idol clips are the most viewed and still have the most active gained views on the channel

Dude that's exactly how I feel. Artists like him don't come too often and I'm happy that I came cross this ocean of talent. His Nepali songs are just poetry dude - the music, the lyrics.. oh man.. Other low profile artists that really give me goosebumps are Maye, and Tash Sultana.

Gives me goosebumps Everytime I hear him sing, They did him dirty on Idol when they brought him back just to knock him down, Lionel Richie didn't but the others did. He did everything they asked of him but still give him no credit. He is the my Idol forever.

Seeing Katy Perry wearing that stupid costume with the wings judging a talent like Arthur made me so angry. And the nerve of her questioning his arrangements which were so complex, that they were beyond her comprehension and understanding. I don't know what happened on the last show when he wouldn't come out of his dressing room and sing with Melissa Etheridge, but I'm on his side regarding whatever was going down behind the scenes.

Absolutely. Somehow we’re to believe that a voice, talent, and musical arrangement style that was voted great the week before suddenly became trash. Give me a break. It was played out on social media, too many ppl complaining about bringing Arthur back because they Knew he was better than all the singers that season, so they didn’t want him to win. And Idol and the judges aren’t authentic and caved like a house of cards. Lionel was almost as bad, imo, saying nothing in Arthur’s defense when he knew what they were doing.

I’m only hearing this guy for the first time in 2024 today. I sure hope he made it into the big time. Is he still going?

this guy needs to be heard all over. his voice is so unique and soulful. ❤ i can't stop listening, his voice is a Godsend

100% original style. And it's all so believable. Taking on popular numbers and redesigning it is the mark of an artist, and to make it all so believable makes a star.

His accent just simply works with how he sings the songs he sings. Love it.

The light shines through this man, his parents are so proud, just incredible!.

I loved his talent from this moment on and got to see Arthur Gunn in concert October 29th 2021 in San Francisco, the show was crazy amazing!! ❤❤❤

How COULD Arthur have LOST?? Was it rigged? American Idol lost some sheen because of it. I don't think the winner has cut any records after winning. What a shame! I think Arthur Gunn has been the BEST singer across ALL seasons. Without a doubt. The way he altered "have you ever seen the rain" is musical genius.

Honestly he has a beautiful and classic voice. I’m not sure we will find another like it for years to come. I was and still am rooting for him. I know there’s a lot of genres out there but he hits a place that’s so classic that it’s rare to find like his rasp and soul. America messed up by not recognizing his talent…

He's amazing, he has a folk story teller cigarette smoking voice but there's a slight little boy quality to it at the same time. The juxtaposition of his voice is wonderful, something you can listen to for a long long time.

The way he sang the “have you ever seen the rain” in four different ways and all the other variations got other song -pure genius.. I don’t know why he is not being picked by an agent.. He should go around performing at bars any venues..

Just came across this absolutely amazingly awesome talent. I'm just in awe of the magic of his voice and how he makes every song his own. Country roads made me cry. It was mine and my grandpa's song, he passed and I never got to say goodbye. But that song made my heart so happy. I would love to see him in concert
