Фильм және анимация

The 2000th Jeopardy! Show. With the star of Jeopardy! Art Fleming!
Burns Cameron, Jane Gschwend, & Elliot Shteir, the highest money winners in the original show’s history return to play for charities of their choice.
With visits from 2000 year old man Mel brooks and vice president of daytime programming mr simpson. This is a treat you’ll be sure to enjoy.
I understand NBC and Sony own the rights to this video and that it may get removed. But for as long as you can, enjoy!

The music being played in the very beginning is Overture by The Who from their 1969 album Tommy

February 21, 1972: The 2,000th episode of Jeopardy! airs on NBC during NBC Daytime, in which Burns Cameron, Jane Gschwend, and Elliott Shtier compete, as they return to play for charity. Before the game begins, Mel Brooks appears as The 2,000 Year Old Man chatting with Art Fleming and the contestants. Only one round plays using the Double Jeopardy! logo and values.👍

No disrespect to Alex Trebek who did an outstanding job as MC later on, but Art Fleming and the original show were much better.

Although most of the 1964 75 daytime episodes have been destroyed, I hope there are a couple of celebrity episodes that weren't destroyed, including any that had a game show host play.

The few that are in existence are just grainy black/white kinescope copies. The only ones in their original format, other than this one are the 1964 pilot and one of the latter episodes from the 74-75 season. Plus, there are some still shots; but pretty much everything else was completely wiped due to the heavy of cost of video back then.

During this version any money you won on j! Was yours to keep. Now these days it's fixed.

In the future, I hope all the March 30, 1964-January 3, 1975 “Jeopardy!” network daytime & 1974-1975 syndicated weekly Art Fleming episodes could restore by the television time Machine.

It is possible that the 1974-75 nighttime Jeopardy could be intact.

Jeopardy was so boring in those days, I should sadly say.

Not at all. In fact, this version was actually faster-paced than the current version. It's fascinating.
