My 11th birthday was during the time the '78 Jeopardy! was in production. As such, when I first saw the Trebek version, I found myself expecting to see the Super Jeopardy! bonus round at the end of the Double Jeopardy! round.

@@fredmckinney8933 I was 11 when this debuted and had vaguely remembered the original Jeopardy from the early 1970s. This version of Jeopardy wasn't half bad really, but went up against too much other competition on the other major networks, back when daytime TV had way more game shows and soaps. Those were the days...

I only vaguely remember this interim Jeopardy. I loved the original Jeopardy, which I grew up with. And I loved the current version for many years into its run.

Thanks for the time warp. I was still in elementary school and trying to watch cartoons after school on our B&W TV with an improvised coat-hanger UHF antenna when this originally aired.

The Time's Up bell was also used on Wheel of Fortune, and for a similar purpose (it rang at the end of the game, denoting time for the final spin).

Especially when Karen got the "Argentina" question right. "The answer is: '4 times the size of Texas, it's the 2nd largest country in South America', and it's Karen." "Second largest? What is, uhh... Argentina?" "RRRRRRIGHT! GOOD FOR YOU! ARGENTINA!" (Wheel "Final Spin" chimes) "Look at that! Double Jeopardy is over, and Karen, with a total of $2000, you are the champion! What a finish."

Then, on 'The Rockford Files', Jim's on the trail of a missing princess. Then 'The Eddie Capra Mysteries', Capra's looking for the killer of a model with a very mysterious lifestyle, all tomorrow night on NBC. Right now, it's 'Jeopardy!', next." "Today, Lucille Ball joins Jack Linkletter on 'America Alive!'. Tonight, the Dogpatch residents celebrate Sadie Hawkins Day in 'Li'l Abner in Dogpatch Today' tonight at 8/7, central and mountain on NBC. Right now, it's 'The New High Rollers', next."

I first saw this from last month, there’s obviously no reason to watch this same for the Pat Sajak and Vanna White version of wheel! I kinda wish no-one posted any of the episodes of the Fleming version, his voice sounds very deep and bad and not clear at all!
