Poch hasn't been done any favours with the clowns up top at Clearlake and clueless directors in Stewart and Winstanley. But when he shows no tactical identity, chooses to play an out of form Badiashile and hit and miss Disasi over Silva and Chalobah, consistently makes foolish substation decisions and loses by 5 goals to a London rival while conceding the most goals in our Premier League era, then yes he needs to be righlty criticised. It of course isn't just Poch, but he needs to be put under the microscope for the piss poor job he's done this season.

Sacking Pochettino is the least of Chelsea’s problems. Don’t get me wrong, Poch has been subpar and I think a great manager could have Chelsea higher in the table, but the club’s problems are rooted and entangled. For starters, recruitment has been horrendous (Brighton players and overhyped WC winners). Second, standards… no accountability or sense of responsibility from anyone, no winning mentality. Don’t get me started with the lack of leadership… all these things combined with owners that don’t care or understand the sport is recipe for Disasi (pun intended)

When it was that period at Arsenal from 2011-2018, at least the situation was stable. Wenger there, inside things were controlled. We knew what to expect, top4 maximum, and why, but it was stable. Man when i hear Chelsea fans screaming for another manager to get sacked I think of Morgan Freeman in Shawshank talking about brooks and how he's 'institutionalised'. The answer to them is always another manager. It's never patience, it's never sticking to a long-term plan or strategy, it's never suffering through the hard times to build character and thrive later.
