The possibility of that is built on the preconceived notion that this isn't just a rich vein of form with Arsenal. I'm not overly convinced they'll keep this going and finish in the top 2. I think they'll dip somewhere and end up finishing around top 4 fighting with United, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs.

I think the topic of how you maintain a successful team is quite interesting. Klopp and Liverpool seemingly aren't sure how to do, while pep did it with ease. The way you do it is by signing a superstar like Haaland while of course making a couple other lower profile changes

I think both Arsenal fans and players are going into matches this year with the feeling they've always got a shot at victory, meanwhile last season there was no shortage of games we went into with the mindset of "we're FUCKED"

Big ups to David ornstein because he just brings that extra touch to it, it's more professional with him and he's opinion feels like fact than opinion

This set up and format is great. And it's enjoyable to see a smaller group of fans discuss certain topics. But can we just get a group of fans together that aren't the top 6, or anyone part of that top 6. They've done the topics with them to death. I get they're the teams that get the clicks and have bigger fan bases. But would love to see more varied teams be spoken about. The top 6 aren't the only thing that make the Premier League.

As an Arsenal fan im not saying we are going to challenge or beat city to the league but give us our credit. this is a young Arsenal team with a very different mentality!

Like, I have always said (Reddit, Twitter and IRL) I could see the good in Arteta. But it's not been a 10 games yet. And let's not ignore, how many Arsenal fans wanted the Kroenkes, Edu, Arteta and namely Xhaka out, all the while justifying Aubameyangs, Ozils, etc getting paid farcical sums. The panel eluded to it, b2b 8th places sees any big 6 club sack a similar level manager. 11 months ago, Arsenal went on a run of 1 win in 9 IIRC. Arteta and the board deserve credit. Sure. I think although they mentioned the World Cup, that no-one is considering the fact that we have no idea what a World Cup in mid-season will do to the players. And the uneven contribution from clubs (in terms of players/starters) to playing the World Cup. We have no idea of the psychological or physical toll that will have on players or how they will perform when they come back. Or for that matter how many players are not going into a 50/50 with intensity right now, for fear of missing out on the World Cup due to a minor injury?

I really enjoyed this one being an Arsenal fan, even though everyone still don't accept we are on the way up.

I still don’t think we will challenge or win the league this season just be because man city are just so much better but slowly and shortly we’ll be at their level and competing with them (with Arteta as our manager)

Honest question, how different is this squad from the one that fell short all those years ago under Cesc's captaincy. Back then it was a young squad full of talents (Nasri, Adebayor etc..) but ultimately fell short of the title, and will likely do the same again due to City's dominance. There hasnt been a young squad win the league since united class of 92. We tried to invest in the blend of experience and youth with Cech, Willian David Luiz etc... and that didn't work. What do Arsenal need to do to push on from a top 4 position?

Please do some shows about other teams aside from Arsenal, United, City, Chelsea, Spurs and Liverpool. There are a few more teams in the Prem.

He was pretty spent to be fair (also being demonstrated now at Bayern where he's getting a fair bit of criticism). People forget that prior to being moved to the centre (where he excelled for 4 or 5 months), he was becoming a bit of a banter player amongst rival fans, as he hadn't really hit consistent form since before LFC capitulated in the 2020-2021 season. I remember making a video about Arsenal's downfall roughly a year ago, and thinking "there's no hope in this club". It's pretty impressive how far they've come. It will be an interesting season for Arsenal and its fans ⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽

i have always said we have Daniel Ekk for the teams progress.

We are on fire and the team is enjoying themselves...we still need a couple more signings (Arsenal) but great start. Liverpool literally don't look the same team no more its actually weird to watch.

4+ years of heavy metal football had to take a toll at some point. Not signing enough new players over the summer just made it more evident.

Enjoy him. Should be a good two seasons before he moves off to Real Madrid. May only be a stepping stone move for him City. But at least you get to enjoy a few seasons of him.

@@daveryan2473 even if he’s at city for 2 years that means. Club would have to trigger his £175m Clause add on top of that the agent fees and his wages making it nearly a £500m deal. City will just go out and buy the next haaland with that money it’s a win win

The main difference between klopp and pep is pep has not been afraid of moving players on and identifying replacement. Kompany, fernandino, Silva, Aguero even though they did not retire but went to another club to continue playing and players like Garcia, sterling, Torres who wanted to go to another club. He has not been afraid to let go and replace while i don't see that attitude with anyone else in the pl including klopp

To be fair he is able to do this because he has endless funds, other clubs can not operate like City, over 450 million Pep has spent on defense alone. Just moving players on is some what easier if you can keep throwing money at a problem, for example, Angelino doesn't work out i will just buy Danilo, Danilo doesn't work out i will just buy Mendy, Mendy doesn't work out i will just buy Cancelo

@@zoheabaleem of course hes been given money but had to operate on a "sell to buy" Klopp himself even came out and said a few months back that he would like Liverpool to take more risks in the transfer window. players in and players out works out 157 million the club has spent since klopp, i personally think the owners are cheapskates

Seeing these lot meeting in a room together reminds me of the scene in drop dead Fred when all the imaginary friends meet each other in the physiatrics ward.

Arsenal have been playing some great football... potential was always there from last season... just needed some consistency and that's obviously it's a we'll wait a see moment... i also think it depends on injuries as well... think if they lose Jesus, Martinelli or maybe a CB would they still be able to keep winning... if yes, then the comeback would be considered complete.

It’s not the fact we wasn’t football fans it was the fact that we had nothing to cheer for, selling our best players to rivals and being on a decline after being told we’d compete with the bigger European teams after moving to the emirates or should we celebrate mediocrity?

After watching these videos I feel like they should have a segment on MNF or super Sunday where they get people like ornstein on and they share some knowledge and information of what they know with the pundits

The trouble is with Mo Salah is that he just isn't quick anymore ! He used to fly past defenders for fun but he can't do it anymore & it makes him look a mediocre player & maybe he plays a bit to wide !

Why don’t they get 6 fans from outside the top 6 and get there thoughts and feelings towards the top 6 and obviously talk about there own clubs and the chances of ever making the top 6 West Ham and Leicester have been around the top 6 for a while let’s here what they think. Also get some fans on from clubs near the bottom and the struggles they have with there clubs and the PL in general. We know sky have its Favourite teams and about time they had a different show which will be more interesting to more football fans. Only saying 🤷‍♂️
