With ESR, we should be starting with the high asking price like other clubs always do. No reason why we shouldn’t ask for £50+ million and see where it goes. He was an England international before the major operation and bagged over 10 goals in half a season before the injury.

Maybe I'm missing something about Emile, but I'm really not sure how he doesn't end up with more playing time. I started to think I was missing something, but then in his one proper start he was a proper effective player. Just two season, pre-injury he was a better player than Martinelli, without question. He's so brave on the ball, so direct and letting him go, homegrown etc. it's just something that really doesn't make sense. He's the kind of player that has the potential to be the player that scares teams and not giving him the playing time is weird.

Many, many best wishes to Kevin Campbell and his family. Remember reading in the match day programme about his amazing goal scoring as a youth player and anticipating his emergence with the first team. Great player, great person - massive contribution to keeping Everton up in the 98-99 season. Last time I saw him play was when he scored for Forest against Arsenal in '95 - get well soon Kevin.

Hey Charles, always Love your insight Would also love to see you do a show with another great Arsenal platform called ‘The Different Knock’ I’d like to delve further into my belief that Arteta can look to keep both ESR & Tierney He has constantly said it is his duty to get the most out of the players he has before signing players ESR & KT had a great understanding a few seasons back I believe each season we see Arteta evolve and this summer may be his evolution in more rotation Which if it is the case then he has a ready made LB to play when White or Timber is RB This fluidity also allows White to play CB to rest Saliba Tomi can play LCB to rest Gabriel I truly believe he can juggle it so these players on the fringe get more starts and as we look to push on in multiple comps they will get 20-30 games Relying on that means more focus and money can be spent on a better option for CM and also striker and winger I pray they both stay as they have so much to give to us From Ben Randm🙏🏾💗🙌🏾 PS - Also sending Love to Kevin Campbell! Hi Charles, Zinchenko was loved here during his first season here but during his second season he talked about a political issue which made people turn sour towards him and now any mistake he makes is highlighted but his good play is often looked past. Unless he plays pretty much flawlessly next season I don’t think this division in the fan base will now ever change. He’s a good player with a winning mentality but I think Bayern and Kompany would be a better place for him, providing they pay a nice fee.

I've heard we will accept NO LESS than 50m for Ramsdale. Too right as well 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Hope Kevin gets well soon. He is very good friends with my Godfather and i've been lucky enough to meet him several times.

First year Zinchenko came here, we couldn't play without him. But they won't even try him at the number 8 where he plays for his country.

Problem with zinny he’s slow and light weight also can’t shoot very well

Imagine if he was given the same amount of trust and time trust that Havertz has been given….. This is where I have a problem with Arteta, like most managers they’ve got their favourites and that’s it. Look at Pep throughout the season he’ll give players a run of games, Doku will play and Grealish will replace him then he’ll have a run of games and Doku then replaces him some games. Same with the defenders he’ll mix and match them, all this because Pep knows he’ll need them at some point during the season. Arteta NO! Just runs with 13/14 and that’s it. ESR was motm against Luton when starting then never started again that’s on Arteta!!!

14:05 Agree except for the idea of a 9 that offers something different than Havertz. Šeško is a different player but I don't think he's THAT unique from Havertz. Great point about Jesus. I don't sell Zinchenko, I'd sell Kiwior because we can get a great fee IF we bring Hato in. I think our overall sales are up there in priority, we have A LOT of players to move on.

Kiwior is earmarked for Left sided CB cover, rather than at LB. We have no one else naturally left footed in that position. He was played at LB out of necessity this past season.

I wanna know why Arteta gave ESR the #10 just to bench him and never play him? Why was a talent with a ridiculous ceiling left to rot??

I watched his entire career, football was different back then, you could kick people off the park and me tackles that are an instant red now, you don't need to be a hard man in football anymore because if anyone kicks you all you do is drop to the floor and wait for VAR to send them off.

Hi Charles, big fan of the show. Been watching for as long as I can remember. I think it's vital that we sign a winger as backup for Saka, but I don't think we've been ignoring this like people seem to think online. We have tried to sign Raphinha, Neto, Kudus etc in the past windows, although it has been a while since we tried to sign an out and out RW. Do you think the club have realised that any player worth getting won't want to be backup to Saka (he will obviously play most games) so instead have decided to go for versatile players ie. Kudus (can play RW and midfield) so we add a quality player who will still get the game time they want. Off the top of my head the players linked since we attempted to sign Raphinha (I would view him as RW only) have been able to play various positions. Thanks for the content.

Hey Charles One thing about the Zinchenko debate is, that with Timber, we have got a player, who is very intelligent moving forward. Kiwior is more of a CB, were we need someone like him. Gabriel&Saliba shouldn‘t play too many games in the cups or maybe against weaker opponents. With Emile - I just hope there will be a lot of clubs, so it will raise the fee and then give Nwaneri those minutes.

If ESR leaves there should be a buy back clause

Hello Charles. I'm a bit skeptical about using Zichenko as a left-sided 8. Yes he's good on the ball + he's a risk taker in his passes, but he's error-prone, takes too much risk in critical positions, & I think he drifts outta concentration...attributes that Yu won't want from a deep lying midfielder.

I wasn't expecting to hear Slim Shady being bandied about.

We cannot sell ESR. Just two years ago, he and Saka were crucial for us. While injuries have slowed him down, he's performed well in every game this season. We need to keep him and let him prove his fitness again.

Raul, would be a great addition, as would cozier duberry. He looked decent on the left when he played there. Obviously he is class on the right. Sesko looks like he will do well, but perhaps it means a change in system, from the little bit i have watched of him he seems to like the left flank when moving centrebacks about. Might work well with havertz if you could get them to fake into 10 as the other flanks. Bit complicated, but why not.

Zinchenko is a midfielder who can also play left back and invert from there better than our other pĺayers. Few players in òur team hàve or can matçh his skill level. Its arrogant of us to think we shd sell him when we've won nothing. Midfield is his best position. Arteta shd use him there more.

Sesko reminds me of Giroud he’s luring us in with amazing goals but I’d rather we went and got Gyokeres. He’s steadily improving season on season and plays as a lone striker in a more physical league. And his goals resulted in them winning the league. It’s just the best fit for us and especially Odegaards playstyle

Hato, Bruno and Sesko would be a wonderful and from all reports achievable window. I think your looking at less than 200m for all three. Hopefully with all the players we have to sell, you see at least 100m come in. I personally think Arsenal should just keep Ramsdale. I know he wont play but if we sell for 30-35m you bring in a 20-25m player (with question marks most likely) i just dont see the point.

Hey Charles, greetings from India. Here's a thought, Osimhen has scored 18,10, 18, 31, 17 goals in the last 5 years. So why do people say last year was a dip in form when it seems more like the 22/23 season is an outlier. Combined with the fact he's injury prone, don't see how investing the money it would take to get him, is in any way a smart move.

@@edzico1908 15 injuries in the last 5 seasons... missing 81 games for Club & Country... shoulder injury, broken cheekbone & hamstring muscular issues... Pretty much misses 15 games a season through injury,only 10 this season gone & 11 the season before though.

What about a replacement to odegaard, we can all notice the drop of level everytime odegaard is not playing and still we dont have any good replacement for him that will back him up if he's injured I mean we have rice and havertz in the left 8 position, we have partey jorginho and rice in the defensive mid and only odegaard in the right mid with maybe vieira as a replacement but i dont think he can carry odegaard's role in the team

What are your hopes for the Euros Charles? We have the squad that’s capable of winning the tournament but I fear that Southgate’s management will prevent us from doing so. His in game management is far too cautious for me, as evidenced by those awful losses to Croatia and Italy when we were ahead.

Let’s be careful who we buy this summer, team spirit can take years to build and one poor signing with a poor attitude can destroy it overnight

Why did osimhen extend with Napoli?

Personally feel if hein stays he has to be loaned out and a Scott Carson esque player should be third choice. Hate seeing young keepers as 3rd choice when they could get some sort out of minutes elsewhere.

Fans love to "bring back player" when they are not available and when they come back-its always "was never good enough" time to let Tierney go, he deserves to be successful and playing all the time when fit.
