i remember in the documentary when josh said to mikel after 3 defeats that we have to stick together. i think that has been the biggest moment for our revival
To be fair to him, he's stuck by Edu and Arteta through thick and thin. He believed in the plan, he has been patient and offered funding. Not a huge of fan of his father, but Josh seems to be quite hands on. I like how he's getting involved, seems to want to understand what's going on around the team and learn to be a better owner.

@@jamesspearing121 Yeah, they're doing everything right at the moment. Sometimes I feel these owners get a bad rap because they're American. Bizarre!
What an owner...i doubt him with every years since wenger left, but he knew exactly what to do. He knew how huge the potential that mikel had at the moment. Huge respect mr.josh, for still believing on mikel.
I' m not a fan of these billionaires but he hired Edu for long-term, Vinai for operation and Arteta for football management instead of acting like his father in pushing everything on Wenger. I' ve never expect custodian-type or sugar daddy behaviors, but our recent revival came from those successful hires and that is praise-worthy.

That was Arsène’s problem and is well documented- he refused outright to work with technical directors and loosen his stranglehold of all footballing affairs at the club. He’s a great man but he had become overly emotional about his ties to the club where he somehow wanted to prove to himself that he could win it all without any help like it’s still 2004. He had strayed too far from the direction in which the game was going
@Account.for.Comment

@@shashwatmittal5393 I think a director of football would be detrimental to the club at the time Wenger was managing. There is a statement that I agreed with that said along the line that "the one who bring in players is more essential to the success than the head coach". If Arteta could not get the players he wanted, with all the transfer fee we are willing to spend, we would not be able to come back to challenging titles. It is Edu job to ensure that recruitment is successful, and to ensure that if Arteta left or fired for a string of bad results, the players would be good for the next coach (unlike what happened with ManU). When Dein was in, Wenger identified the players, and Dein just bring them in. Then, the board/owners/bank took more active role (reason why Ashley Cole left) and after Dein gone, Wenger could not get all the player he wanted but he took all responsibility for success and failure. Thus, there is no confusion of accountability, regardless of who at fault. A dof would cause more confusion and conflicts within the club. Wenger allowed more board control over player scouting after Leichester won the title, and our league position went lower. It took five years before we came back to the top 4, even with world-class coaches and more transfer.
Hats off to Josh Kroenke the truth is we wouldn't be where we are now without his hires and his ambition through a butterfly affect Josh Kroenke has revived Arsenal Football Club
Glad the Kroenke's are still around.

Tbh the moment i heard Kroneke own 100% of Arsenal i already knew Arsenal will comeback . It's pretty simple , you dont want to spend your money on something you dont own , or have to share profit with another dude . Your money your profit .
Best thing that happened was Stan taking a step back and leaving the running of the club to Josh. To be fair to him, he’s done a superb job. Stan Kroenke is a car crash.
The Kroenke family has taken som legitimately fair critisism over the years! But ever since Daddy gave Josh the Arsenal-reins, he has been doing an incredible job. I don't care if we are being spinned a story to help stock-prices, when it seems obvious that the job is being done right. Also when it's been obvious that he's been greatly involved and helped made sure there's communication in every link from Coach, Director, Board to Owner. I'm not telling people to turn around and forget all the bad. But there's some real credit to be given here!
He seems invested in the club, players and manager. Things are looking up

I think we have enough depth to last until then. I think Lokonga started well when he joined but made some mistakes and didn't seem confident. He lost his place and you can see in the documentary he was noticeably frustrated. I think him being called back has given him a 2nd chance and he's taken it well. Wenger had David Dean. Nice to see Arteta having something of the same support and quality around him
Let’s all be honest with ourselves, no matter what discipline or trade you come from, a great leader has a quality of patience. This patience is what separates good leaders from great leaders. In the latter we have Josh and Stan.
Josh is 10 times better than his dad Stan. Stan never came to the training ground to meet the players and the coaches. Hope it stays the same. #coyg
We all know that bigger teams need multiple top players in the same position for rotation and squad depth to achieve major silverwares 🏆 Arsenal must have to make that statement clear to the football world by spending big and sensibly that "We're back to our glory days to win all" 👏🏽 #coyg
The Kronkes are smart business people above all else, so they must know that Arsenal, with our world wide reach and fan base, should be the jewel in crown of their sporting empire. Arsenal has the potential, with the right kind of investment, to become a massive force which could even eclipse our already impressive past achievements.

Josh and the entire team has done very well so far. If we eventually win the EPL, the players profile and stock will definitely go up and the best teams across Europe will start eyeing our players especially the oil well money bags. My question to the fans in this platform is: do you think Kroenke will or will not sell some of our best players if he sees big money offer from other clubs showing interest in our players bearing in mind this is a young project Arteta is building?

I am massively confused by Josh Kronke’s comment about only taking ownership in 2018? They have been around since 2008 and did nothing. The only reason they have got more involved and started spending money is because there was a genuine risk they could have been forced out of the club by the fans. The document did wonders for the fans relationship with the club. It improved my opinion of Arteta considerably. As a club we are now definitely moving in the right direction. However I still dislike the Kronke’s. To them we are still a business. After the super league it’s clear they want to win back fans trust, and they’ve realised the only way they will do it is through success on the pitch. But we will only ever be a business project to them. The history of Arsenal means nothing to them. You have got to give them some credit for finally starting to address some of the things they have got so wrong, but to not even take ownership of the time before 2018 is just wrong.
